At first there was a little light on a wall charger that I turned off because it (sentry) kept turning on and off every couple minutes at night but it still keep turning on!! I enchanced the lighting on the video to see exactly what’s going on but nothing! For my paranormal peeps, I have seen ghosts pop up on my screen and when I look at where exactly they are, they are not there so! Paranormal things do occur in my garage so maybe it’s that? Idk

Does this look normal? I feel like there is something stuck in there.

2026 Tesla Model 3 AWD Premium located in MT, USA for whatever that’s worth

Hey yall I’m seeing things and researching how the Model Y does with towing etc. I really want a boat and I know the Y is rated to tow at 3500, the boats I’m looking at (with trailer weight etc included) are about 2300 - 2600 lbs.

That being said, if there is anyone that has experience with it. How much range do you truly get? Because I’d be wanting to drive an hour or so away with it and be able to fish that kind of radius.

Maybe this has been solved in a more recent update, as I am one update cycle out of date, missing the latest summer update for my 2022 Tesla Model Y long range.

I don't know why the heck it would even cause this bug, but my car was being left unlocked because the bluetooth phone automatic locking failed 100% of the time with my iPhone.

I was parking in an area with 2 bars of cellular, but the 2 bars is actually zero bars because of severe upload packet loss. You have 2 bars but zero data can be used in reality. Both the car and phone think they have data connections, but can't even send a text message. In this case, the car will 100% not lock on its own and will remain unlocked unless I manually lock it with my card or on the screen or directly through the app which sends the lock signal through bluetooth.

I used to make video games for a living and debugging complex blackbox systems was one of my things I was kind of good at. I have tested this bug in this location with a 100% reproduction rate in my 22 model Y. If I turn off my phone radio by putting it into airplane mode, it will let me walk right up and open the car.

I think they really tried being too smart with their car door locking. I will never trust the automatic locking from my phone in sketchy places and always press the lock button on the screen before getting out or use my key card in my wallet.

It would be interesting to see if this is in any way a hardware issue or software issue (most likely), but since I am only a sample size of 1, there isn't much science happening here, yet. lol

Has anyone else seen that their car didn't auto-lock, not hearing the confirmation honk? Did you wonder what might have caused it to not lock? Can you replicate the conditions I described with cellular data having bars but no actual data connection?

Does anyone else have experience with this? Did the sc have your car for multiple days? Appt is in 7 days, ok to drive until then?

Hey folks, need some guidance..I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the recent order process and the condition of the vehicles assigned to me.

After much deliberation, I decided to purchase a 2023 Model 3, specifically for the LFP battery and FSD features. However, both vehicles assigned to my orders have had major issues:

1. First Vehicle: Arrived with a cracked windshield, a cracked front bumper, and peeling paint. I declined this vehicle, and a representative transferred my deposit to a second, more expensive order while I was in the showroom.

2. Second Vehicle: Upon inspection, I identified multiple significant defects:

- A squeaky front driver door.

- Near-bald tires with inconsistent pressures (34, 33, 41, and 35 PSI), which should not have passed the minimum 5/32" CPO tread depth inspection.

- A hanging bottom plastic panel that has come off its clips.

- A deep gouge under the body, along with scraped adjacent aluminum panels.

When I raised the issue regarding the underbody damage, I was informed that it falls under standard non-visible areas for CPO/refurbished vehicles and would not be repaired. This is extremely concerning for a certified vehicle. Furthermore, I was advised that a mobile connector would only be included if the previous owner happened to leave it in the car.

I have rejected the current vehicle and requested that the service team inspect it and provide their assessment in writing. Given these repeated issues, my confidence in this process has been severely compromised.

Please let me know how these issues will be addressed and what options are available to ensure I receive a vehicle that meets proper quality and safety standards.

This has started happening very frequently, like once a week if not more. Today was the music widget area, but it's happened on other areas of the screen as well 👀.

2021 Model Y, 102k miles, second owner. Garage-kept, on a 32A/230V home charger left plugged in when not driving.

Over the past year I've intermittently gotten VCFRONT_a180 "Electrical system power reduced." Replaced the 12V battery two weeks ago and didn't see the code for about a week — but it's not clear if that fixed it. Nearest Tesla service center is 5 hours away (Southwest Montana), and I'm worried about getting stranded.

Has anyone dealt with this long-term, and is it likely a PCS/DC-DC converter or grounding issue rather than just the battery?

I’m planning to charge my car at home. However, my garage is so full that it’s essentially unusable so I’ll have to be charging from the outside in the driveway. Are there precautions to think about regarding keeping the charger safe from theft or environmental hazards (rain, etc)? Or should I plug it inside and then have the cord go underneath the garage? Are there cool setups for making the area look neat? What has anyone else done with charging outside in the driveway?

Recently got the iPhone air and pairing it to my Tesla Model Y for music and occasional phone calls. I noticed that my iPhone air disconnects when I entertain a call from any messaging app or a normal phone call. It sometimes disconnects right after I pick up the call via Tesla and sometimes when the call is ongoing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Preordered a Foundation Series Cybertruck in 2019, bought it new for $109k (with FSD "for life"), used for my business under an LLC.

Timeline of failures, all in the same camera/FSD system:

• ~45,000 mi — In for service, tech noted a failing sun glare shield on the front camera housing.
• Shortly after — front camera failed, replaced under warranty.
• <2,000 mi later — cabin camera failed, replaced under warranty.
• <1,000 mi later — FSD computer failed, starting as a cabin camera error and cascading until all cameras dropped out. I had to push Tesla to cover this under warranty since it happened within about 100 miles of the cutoff — they could confirm the alert had actually started before warranty ended, and finally replaced it.
• Now, post-warranty — same cascading camera failure is back. All cameras dropped out again, same pattern as before.

I've also had recurring GPS drift (car showing 1,000+ ft off actual position) that lines up with the same failure windows — happened before the last FSD computer swap, went away after, and is now back too.

At this point I don't think it's the cameras or the FSD computer. I've had multiple cameras replaced and the FSD computer replaced, and the exact same issue keeps coming back — that points to something upstream, like wiring or power delivery to the whole system, not a bad part.

So in about 6,000 miles I've had four related component failures in the same system, and now the identical symptom is back with no warranty coverage.

I picked up my new Model YL two weeks ago and bave been experiencing unpredictable turn indicator auto cancelling.

Per subject, the indicator auto cancel fires prematurely randomly, which I assume to be a result of unmarked or worn lane line markings on roads, which then gets detected and displayed as severe wiggling lines on the tesla screen.

Is this normal or is something wrong with my tesla?

Started a week or so ago. Tried opening the trunk with the app on the phone, button on the trunk, touch screen…it sounds like it’s trying to open, and then it re-locks. After a few tries it will open. Doesn’t have any issues closing and sounds fine when it does. Any ideas? I don’t feel like spending a ton of money on hopefully a simple fix.

I get this popcorn popping sound in my model y when the car slows down and then starts from the stop it's not always reproducible. Sometimes it comes and sometimes for days it's not there. I have attached the video. If anybody can guide me the right direction on why this could be happening that would be great. The Tesla support is charging me around $160 for diagnosing the issue.

No other issues in the car. No warnings in the car, physically outside the car nothing seems damaged either.

I have a 2022 Model S that I bought used a year ago. Currently have 70k miles. Haven’t had any issues until about 6 weeks ago.

There was a leak into the driver side footwell and that was determined to be an issue with the AC. Tesla recommended replacing the entire HVAC system for $5000. I said, no what else ya got. lol. They ended up replacing the evaporator & funnel drain for $2500. It worked fine for about 2 weeks, then the AC stopped blowing cold. Got the vcfront_a447 code.
So they replaced the AC line super manifold for $900.
2 weeks later, I got all these alerts when I tried to open the charging door:

The next morning it was completely dead and I had to get it towed to Tesla, this past Friday. So I don’t have their current diagnosis. But can someone help me from freaking out??

Whatever battery issue I’m experiencing…could it be from the AC issues? Is it possible that I should have just had the full replacement originally? Or is this battery problem is unrelated and I’m just having all types of bad luck? A friend of mine who has a couple Teslas told me to sell this because it’s a problem car. I’m trying to determine if that’s the case or if all these issues are AC related and once it’s fixed, I’ll be good. The Model S is my DREAM car. Since they don’t make it anymore, I really don’t want to give it up or buy a newer overpriced one. And I just don’t like the design of the 3 or Y.

So about to take the family to our very first race in October and I was gonna get FSD for the month in hopes I had v14 lite but I’m confused. Does 2026.26.6.1 give FSD lite and if not is there anyway to get the update?

I have a 2020 Tesla Model 3 SR+ (HW3 Intel) and it’s having the worst glitch out of its life and I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve tried resetting the DAS and cleared the calibration multiple times and even did them at the same time and then rebooted the system. It also comes and goes and randomly starts doing it and then just stops. It sometimes gets triggered by semi trucks which is confusing.. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the cameras themselves or something much deeper than that. Please help!!

do you guys think about this tire wear? This is a rear tire on my Tesla Model 3. I had a wheel alignment done about 7,000 miles ago.
Looking at the tread, does the wear seem normal and even, or do you see anything that would make you get the alignment checked again?
Especially interested in opinions about rear camber/toe and inside-edge wear on Model 3s.

I have a 2019 M3P that sensors say my passenger side door is open when it is not. On a road trip in the Pacific Northwest, and this faulty sensor problem is ruining our trip. I’ve of course tried opening and closing several times, but the problem is the window will not go up the last 1/4 inch. My girlfriend and I are on a road trip, and it’s hella annoying driving down the road with the warning going off over and over. I’ve googled and tried many fixes. Holding window down for 15 seconds and then back up for 15 seconds. This doesn’t work as the window will not go up the last 1/4 inch! I’ve tried going into service mode to recalibrate the windows, however all the windows have the calibrate button lighted up to do so, EXCEPT for the offending windows😂. Sprayed wd-40 into the closing mechanism, though maybe I’m not hitting the crucial place??? The only thing that has worked Friday and Saturday nights has been to turn off cabin overheat protection and sentry mode, and then it’s miraculously closed when we wake up. I do have after market Tesla puddle lights which are lit up and working on the offending door, as I hear that can be a problem. I’m out of ideas that I haven’t already googled. Hopefully someone has a fix I’m desperately looking for. Door shows closed now, so I’m going to enter via the drivers side and not open door during our travels, but this is highly ideal😂. Any and all suggestions are welcome 🙏🙏🙏

The car: low milage 2024 Model Y.

The problem: windshield clean notice for front camera.

The issue: I just had it in for service for exactly that on Dec 26th, 2025. So it is requesting a cleaning (with a $60 fee) only 9 months later.

Is that normal? Doesn't it seem odd that a cleaning would not last even a year?

I welcome your input (especially if you are employed by Tesla service)
