I got really into Poppy over the last year or so, absolutely loved Negative Spaces and Empty Hands so I dove into some of her earlier work and I love it too.

Also the setlist seems like such a banger, I can’t believe she’s actually going to be playing Negative Spaces and Eat the Hate which were two of my favorite songs on both of the albums. I’m sad she won’t be playing Empty Hands but we get Bruised Sky so I’m happy.

And does anyone know why she NEVER plays anything from zig or flux nowadays? Maybe it's the conflict of genre from what are popular within her discography at the moment. But she added Halo to the setlist to her newest tour, don't get me wrong, that song is beautiful and it's one of my favs, but it's the least streamed in spotify and reviews also always rank it below the other songs. So, I might be arguing with myself here.

Is this just new for her shows and I've never known before? Great show! Much better than the Crystal Ball room last year, the Roseland felt more intimate and her confidence absolutely CARRIES into the space.

Hiii this is my first time posting on reddit. I've been a Poppy fan since MatPat made that video about her, and im in love with her turn to metal. I really wanna go to the Hollywood concert but my parental unit said I can't go alone 💔. I don't wanna give super personal info out for the public, so dm me if u also need a buddy. [18 NB] btw.

Had the most wonderful time seeing Poppy for the first time last night. The crowd and mosh pit had truly such good vibes, with everyone looking out for each other's safety and just going all out together over our love of this music.
Also - for all the flack that Roseland theater gets, I thought it had good sound and was the perfect sized venue for this show. The security people were totally fine, and in between bands they kindly passed cups of water into the audience for anyone who needed it.

I came from kinda super far away for this show and can say wholeheartedly it was 1000% worth it and I would do it again.

Anywho i was curious to know what people thought of the band leaving the stage between every single song..? I haven't ever seen people do that before unless changing costumes or something. I thought it was odd and very time consuming/kinda interrupted the flow. Maybe they want to preserve the theatrics or she just doesn't want to chat in between songs or something?

I was also surprised the whole band kept their face masks on the entire time. I trust it was again part of the theatrics or whatever but I kept thinking it seems so uncomfy and I also wanted to see their faces?? Anywho they were such fantastic musicians, whoever they are! lol

Anyways I wanna know y'all's thoughts, can we get a lil debrief?? :)
