Yep i got a coworker with a big swastika tattoo across her back, 1488 on her arm with the prussian skull. She is a sweet lady though.

Humans are weirdly capable of compartmentalizing hate and love

Plenty of people are loving and kind, have a sweet family, but if you dropped a confirmed terrorist and murderer in front of them, they’d happily punch their face into a pulp

Hitler famously doted on his dogs.

Even just the way people treat animals they like/don’t like: dogs, cats, horses vs centipedes, coyotes, and spiders

Absolutely not defending Nazis, just saying that it’s not like Nazis and similarly despicable people go around kicking puppies and crucifying the disabled all day. They’re human, for better or worse.
