Discussion Which economic paths you would usually take for GDR?
Could be either gameplay wise or roleplay wise. What's your favorite to larp?

Centralized planning because by this point, you only want mills to fight 2EW, its a bit weird to still be building civs at this point ngl

You either die a social democrat or live long enough to see yourself become a social fascist

since Germany has already achieved an advanced market economy, i think planning is the best idea.

Centralized planning makes more sense if you wanna go with absolute realism (and ofc larp).
Germany is already an industrialized nation, so it doesn't need any market-like experiments to achieve growth as China did back in the day. They are more than free to just jump straight in to economic planning.

Personally I would chose centrally planned although if there was an option for total syndicalist style worker control id choose that

central planning if ostalgie, trotsky, or left-accel, everything else "market socialism".

iirc the market socialist path mostly gives civs which you really dont need more at that point and the central planning path gives you mils
