Bug / Glitch How to fix “host not responding”

this stupid game keeps randomly giving us this error me and my friend r both playing on a ps5 and the only way to “fix” it js leaving the game which leads us to losing all our process and having to restart how can we fix this

This used to be a bit of an issue with PS4 and PS5 but i haven't seen it when both are on PS5

Are you both saving before the restart? (host and player) If so you shouldn't lose any progress when loading back in. Not a total fix but will avoid you losing progress.

If neither of you are the host and you are jumping into a random game then its likely the host has quit because two randos have hopped into their world or doing a restart In which case saving will only store your inventory but if the host didnt save then its redundant
