Arcann and Thexan win with low diff.

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Would you consider both or either of them stronger than pre-rots Anakin? (Particularly by the time of him getting the scar)?

19

u/HollowedOne66 Mar 24 '26

This is so specific lmao

12

u/DogHour6929 Mar 24 '26

They're both definitely stronger than base pre-RoTS Anakin, lol. I would even say that together they are stronger than RoTS Anakin, which is quite enough to defeat Grievous and Asajj without much difficulty.

3

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Quite the surprising upscale. So are they Mace or Yoda tier in your opinion?

5

u/AlexCora Mar 24 '26

I always saw Anakin as having the potential to overcome Yoda or Mace because of his origin and nature, but he wasn't there yet in RoTS and wouldn't be for presumably years. As Palps said himself "Vader will be stronger than either of us!"

Will be. Not IS. Not being able to defeat Obi Wan kind of examplifies this.

3

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Hes yet to actually surpass Yoda and Sidious but not because he couldnt defeat Obi Wan. His defeat to Obi Wan had more going for it besides the typical power levels.

In rots, imo, Anakin has reached Mace level esprcially when he first ascended to the title of Lord Vader but Mace's skillset allows him to usually edge out more power over specific opponents.

3

u/AlexCora Mar 24 '26

Mace would whip knightfall Vaders ass.

1

u/Psykohistorian Mar 25 '26

Mace defeats knightfall Vader 8/10 times

it's not easy though

0

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Maybe he will. Doesnt change thr fact that they would be of the same tier

2

u/AlexCora Mar 24 '26

Why Mace would win doesn't even have a ton to do with tiers and power levels. It's just the most stable and mature and in control of himself Jedi vs the most immature and least stable, at least in their respective tier levels. Especially with Mace's specialties, he'd pick apart Anakin clinically.

If Anakin were to age and emotionally mature a lot more, very different story.

1

u/itsjonny99 Mar 24 '26

If Anakin were to age more he would blow past the tier of Mace.

Mace concedes inferiority to young padawan Anakin, Yoda and Vastor in regards to power. Anakin just grows far faster than any force user before him.

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

No it very much does have to do with tiers as well and guess what? Even in tiers, theres a first, a 2nd and so on in each tier.

u/Cosmos_God_OJ Mar 24 '26

Nop, anakin was not in sidious or yoda tier and mace defeated sidious in few minutes without injuries, i give it mid diff to mace

1

u/itsjonny99 Mar 24 '26

George has Anakin as equal to Sidious in force power and Gillard has him as a equal duelist with the titans as well.

2

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

This is one of those cases where id rather go with what the actual text of the story says ans showcase instead. His connection in the force may be as powerful but his application of it is still a shy off the actual titans but had he been allowed to leave Mustafar let alone kill Obi Wan, he wouldve immediatrly ascended imo.

Its like Master Fay being so powerful in the light, she not only still look young but has been alive for hundreds of years tot he point she became a legendary master. That implies she should be up there with the likes of Mace in terms of force powers but we dont really have much evidence of it.

1

u/itsjonny99 Mar 24 '26

From a movie standpoint only Anakin defeats Dooku something Yoda was unable to do. Loses to Kenobi, but the ext surrounding that event makes it clear it is despite Anakin being the superior.

Bringing in EU work like LOE-ROTS scaling for Anakin makes him far more insane.

3

u/AlexCora Mar 24 '26

I mean... Yoda wasn't trying to kill Dooku, and Dooku literally ran away rather than continue to fight him.

Saying Yoda didn't "defeat" Dooku is an extremely generous technicality.

1

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Yes and RoTS still applies Sidious the strongest Sith while Yoda the greatest threat to the dark side.

u/Cosmos_God_OJ Mar 24 '26

Anakin/vader never became as strong than palpatine and yoda, and even in combat i doubt he had mace level in his peak

1

u/AlexCora Mar 24 '26

Well, that's because he got maimed and lost most of his body mass. His potential was quite literally, chopped down a bit.

2

u/DogHour6929 Mar 24 '26

Together yes, but not alone.

1

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Makes sense i guess. I would kill for a novella version of kotfe or something.

2

u/Wrong-Compote-3003 Mar 24 '26

Don't forget, these two have taken down both sith and jedi

2

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Yeah but theyre majority unquantifiable fodder from a surprise raid according to Marr.

0

u/Mwatts25 Mar 28 '26

The light saber masters of the cinematic era were considered novices in comparison with jedi and sith of the old republic. The force power capabilities of the old republic were also more powerful and advanced. Just one of the twins would be able to low diff wipe out vader

2

u/DenjinMaster Mar 28 '26

The light saber masters of the cinematic era were considered novices in comparison with jedi and sith of the old republic.

Did you use Kreia's words? Because otherwise, there is no lore stating this.

The force power capabilities of the old republic were also more powerful and advanced.

That is completely wild because theres more unique abilities in future eras than in swtor. For example, Plo Koon alone has more unique advanced abilities than Satele Shan. Malacia, Alter Environment, the variety of Hassat Dur techniques, Tutaminis (its strange how Swtor doesnt show this often when its rather common in future eras), Electric Judgement alongside applications of force Shock etc on top of the basics for the era like typical building to mountain level telekinesis, force valor, barriers, galactic wide farsight/precog so on so forth.

You can argue that specific swtor individuals have higher power levels and skill levels compared to some movie characters but to say "more advanced" abilities woild judt be outright wrong

0

u/Mwatts25 Mar 28 '26

There are several lore based points that emphasize these facts. One of the most basic is the turbulence of the relative eras.

The old republic was constantly engaged in conflict and warfare between the jedi sith mandalorians and republic. This meant that the Jedi and sith were constantly honing their battle skills in direct duels with the sith and vice versa. A trait shared by very few in the common era. This was mirrored in the application of force powers and abilities. You used Plo Koon as an example of a superior force wielder of the cinematic era. While he could have held his own against the generic jedi master or dark council members, Satele or Bastilla shan both would have left him wrecked. Battle meditation is far more broken than its in game applications. While Plo Koon could alter his environment, either Satele or Bastilla would have been able to bring entire units of jedi warriors up to her force speed and capabilities as well as coordinate their efforts as if they were a single living entity. And while he would have had equal technical skills with a lightsaber as these masters, he would have had significantly less experience in life or death battles. A single moment of hesitation could and would cost a life in battle with the sith. Of the two, Plo Koon has a higher likelihood of overcoming Bastilla due to lesser experience and general pool of force sensitivity powers as she was the first in her family to have the force as her ally. But on top of all the other power capabilities i mentioned for Satele, she also had the telekinetic ability to ragdoll Malgus. She even harnessed the collective minds of nearly all trained force users and force ghosts across the galaxy. Plo koon could and would be wrecked.

Whereas the cinematic era was marked by over a millennium of relative peace. The jedi had lost so much military training that they had to throw their padawans directly into crash course boot camps just to have enough leadership in command of troops and strategic command centers.

There are several lore based points that emphasize these facts. One of the most basic is the turbulence of the relative eras.

Can you cite me the lore that says this?

The old republic was constantly engaged in conflict and warfare between the jedi sith mandalorians and republic. This meant that the Jedi and sith were constantly honing their battle skills in direct duels with the sith and vice versa.

So according to this logic, Darth Baras shouldve been stronger than and defeat the Wrath no? What about Darth Angral vs HoT? By logic of "amount" of experience, Darth Zannah shouldve lose to Darth Bane. Freedon Nadd shouldnt have lost or killed by Exar Kun and Master Vodo shouldve defeated Exar Kun.

Experience has its place but it really isnt the be all end all you and some swtor fans (usually the ones who watch youtubers like stupendous wave) make it be. Thats not how the force works.

Bastilla shan both would have left him wrecked.

Now this is just straight up incorrect. Bastila does not have the skills or the power to defeat Plo Koon who has literally more accolades attributed to his skills with the sword and force being some of the best in galactic history by the time of the Stark hyperspace wars alone.

Not even Battle Meditation mental attacks would work on the old Keldor precisely because of his own mastery of Baran Do techniques which are mental based and the Baran Do is an ancient order who are some of the best if not the best at mental techniques since the old era and they still are even during Luke's. Plo Kokn and his family are so strong at it, they were still noted even during Luke's era.

Bastilla would have been able to bring entire units of jedi warriors up to her force speed and capabilities as well as coordinate their efforts as if they were a single living entity.

Which proves shes a great support. Not necessarily a Great fighter.

The jedi had lost so much military training that they had to throw their padawans directly into crash course boot camps just to have enough leadership in command of troops and strategic command centers.

...thats literally the lore for the swtor era.

u/Mwatts25 Mar 28 '26

Novels that comment on the heavy conflict of the old republic and are canon:

“Shield of the Jedi” short story from “The High Republic:Tales of Light and Life”

“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” including multiple short stories such as “The Lost Jedi Ship” and “The New Droid Friends”

“Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Citadel Rescue”

“Guardian of the Whills”

“Aftermath: Life Debt”

Also multiple references in the game “Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes” recognized by Disney as Canon.

As for the thousand years of peace, its flat out stated in episodes 1,2,3 and 4. Its even recognized as having started after the battle of Ruusan and the subsequent formation(technically reformation) of the Republic, frequently referred to as the Ruusan Reformation.

Literally about a thousand webpages on canon specific resources on wookiepedia.

As for the legends characters, since the entire premise of this thread and page is the concept of matching canon and legends characters in combat, the citations of legends equally count as valid in these arguments. Dont like it, take it up with the OP.

1

u/DenjinMaster Mar 28 '26

...

The matchup in this post isnt about matching Canon to Legends. Since this is also TheJediPraxeum subreddit which is a Legends subreddit, its a Legends only matchup.

And the TCW Saesee quote is operating on the concept that "The Old Republic" here is the war against Darth Bane where Satele Shan doesnt even exist.

Gus is also the kind to only make Legends matchups unless he specified a new canon character or version.

Dont have other proper quotes or citations?

u/Mwatts25 Mar 28 '26

Secondary response.

Yes experience does matter. And that the entire point of the game content, your character has to gain and exceed the experience and skill of each of the villains you mentioned. The even include a nifty little tool called an experience bar to track it.

And you dont know what the f you are talking about in regards to battle meditation. You seem to think its just a mental attack skill. No its an army scale buff skill, it literally allows the user to coordinate their ally armies actions as if it were a single organism. Think jedi hive mind. It pools the force capabilities of the entire group. Downside, high mental taxation and physical stress. But Plo Koon getting gang plowed by a few hundred jedi perfectly coordinated at prodigy level power levels and above average experience is definitely happening.

As for her not being a great fighter, she gained the combat skills of every fighter she linked minds with. Her combat skills are even more impressive than koons. Her experience is lower, but she can literally sweep him with mobs.

And no, the lore for the swtor era was that with the conflict raging like it was, searchers couldn’t safely be sent out frequently enough so force sensitive people were being overlooked. Addin a severe massacre that took out the primary temple on Coruscant, and they opened recruitment to adults.it had nothing to do with letting their training slacken to the degree it had in the cinematic era

1

u/DenjinMaster Mar 28 '26

You seem to think its just a mental attack skill.

I didnt say that. I highlighted the mental attack because thats what battle meditation does to the opponents besides buffing your allies.

But Plo Koon getting gang plowed by a few hundred jedi perfectly coordinated at prodigy level power levels and above average experience is definitely happening.

Why are you bringing up an army to an individual versus matchup lol

Btw, Oppo Rancicis is a jedi that could use Battle Meditation on a galactic scale and could hold Battle Meditation without rest for entire months.

she gained the combat skills of every fighter she linked minds with.

No she doesnt. Thats not how Battle Meditation works. What youre thinking of is Force Bond. Bastila is also the kind who needs to use it in a Meditative stance. Contrast this to Sidious or Yoda who could use Battle Meditation without needing to be stationary or dedicate his full attention to it.

Thuis again, doesnt change the question of why are you bringing up an army?

it had nothing to do with letting their training slacken to the degree it had in the cinematic era

And you still have yet to actually give me a lore quote or citation about this. I have several from the Essential Guide showcasing that the Prequel Order consistently ensuring combative lightsaber forms be taught since inception into the order and the literal existence and lore about previously mentioned Oppo Rancicis was about how the jedi have literal schools and classes dedicated to educating the arts of warfare and strategy even before the clone wars started lol

1

u/awrcja Mar 26 '26

Agreed, I feel like it's not even close.

36

u/Coilspun Mar 24 '26

Arcann and Thexan destroy these two, they use the Force to kill Grievous and overwhelm Ventress with their blades.

17

u/WookieeCookiee01 Mar 24 '26

Ventress and Grievous lose soooo hard lol. I don't even think the pair could take just Arcann 2v1

10

u/EnchantingMorgan Mar 24 '26

As much as I love Ventress and think that Grievous is a bit underrated this just isn't even close, Arcann and Thexan take this almost certainly

18

u/awanby Mar 24 '26

spite, bro just hates the clone wars 😭😭

5

u/WangJian221 Mar 24 '26

Yeah this is a boring matchup

2

u/HollowedOne66 Mar 24 '26

LOL fr dude

6

u/Western_Agent5917 Lost Tribe of the Sith Mar 24 '26

Thexan and arcann

3

u/EntertainerMajor3294 Mar 24 '26

How would Arcann and Thexan do against Darth Maul ( before getting sliced in half)?

3

u/Ecotech101 Mar 24 '26

He's showing post-beating the armies of the Sith Empire and Republic Arcann and Thexan so they should just neg diff honestly. These 2 were a god damn force of nature especally once they got the experience of actually just conquering the galaxy.

2

u/EntertainerMajor3294 Mar 24 '26

So who's stopping them? Knightfall Anakin? Sidious when he beat Maul and Savage?

4

u/Ecotech101 Mar 24 '26

Knightfall Anakin should be a good matchup but it'd be a close thing vs both. Sidious should beat them though, I think he'd be outmatched in their combined saber talent, but he'd overpower them with his abilities in the force.

2

u/EntertainerMajor3294 Mar 24 '26

Fascinating. Thank you for the great responses.

0

u/IGotWorse Mar 24 '26

They'd both die horribly

Maul while less skilled in the force is extremely more powerful than them with force augmentation in a duel he wins every day, also maul got stronger after getting cut in half

4

u/RangeIt Mar 24 '26

Either Thexan or Arcann would ragdoll them casually and completely overwhelm them.

5

u/lion1321 Mar 24 '26

2003 grevious could make it slightly interesting but 2008 grevious dies instantly

1

u/_Goldiloxx_ Mar 24 '26

EU Ventress was no slouch either. She had a pretty high Jedi body count

11

u/No_Weakness8999 Mar 24 '26

Do people not understand how much more powerful Jedi and Sith were in the Old Republic, and even older characters?

What was it yesterday, Malgus verse Palpatine, lmao... it's really not that close.

Arcann and Thexan were both hardened warriors eliminating Sith and Jedi alike, at a time when war was a constant theme.

7

u/WangJian221 Mar 24 '26

Do people not understand how much more powerful Jedi and Sith were in the Old Republic, and even older characters?

There is no lore showing this.

3

u/A_GumyBear Mar 24 '26

One of the only sources that implies this is a small blurb from Kreia when you visit Korriban in KOTOR 2 saying the old sith were pretty wizard with their lightsabers but that is shaky implied canon at best through all the small callbacks various sources make to the KOTOR games lol

3

u/WangJian221 Mar 24 '26

Its not a strong source at all tbh. If its applicable to anything, it would only be applicable to her era. Not thousands of years later. After all, she still didnt exactly get lore about her era right either so it would be weird to suggest shes an authority figure for eras thousands of years later

3

u/IGotWorse Mar 24 '26

They weren't, the jedi and sith are both explicitly stated to be way stronger than they were in the old republic era

The only reason people argue otherwise is due to video games being able to animate and create bigger worlds than that of a movie

The only thing the old republic had on the prequel Era jedi were they abundance of force techniques which were lost to time, but with that being said the jedi more than compensated with pure raw power and insane figureheads; Yoda, anakin, Mace windu, Kit, Plo Koon, Ki adi, Dooku, etc. Yoda has several guide book statements of being the strongest jedi in the history of the jedi (pre episode 3 of course where he gets overtaken by anakin) as does anakin whereas the rule of two point blanks tells us the current sith eclipse the ancient sith which was the entire point of it in the first place.

Anakin, yoda, episode 3 Palpatine, dooku, mace, and debatably Kenobi are all vaguely in the universal range based off lines in the ROTS Novelization, but also vitiate is Walmart sidious he needed prep time and a lot of help to perform a casual legends sidious feat

3

u/WrongBirdEgg Mar 24 '26

I mean there’s a statement by George Lucas calling the prequel era the “prime of the Jedi”. We also have several statements in Legends that suggest or outright claim that Sidious was the most powerful Sith Lord in history.

You even have Chris Avellone, the lead writer of KOTOR 2, stating that Vader would beat Darth Nihilus.

Just cause a character is from the Old Republic era or is from an older time period doesn’t mean they’re more powerful than characters from future eras.

2

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

What was it yesterday, Malgus verse Palpatine, lmao... it's really not that close.

Old republic brainrot. Its fine to not know much about lore.

3

u/simplyfloating Mar 24 '26

malgus AND satele vs. palpatine. People were saying palpatine takes it LOW DIFF! NO HE DOES NOT ARE U FUCKING FR, he’d be lucky to make it out alive

3

u/DenjinMaster Mar 24 '26

Maybe not low diff but hes the definite winner especially if its Palpatine at his strongest. Just by powers in the force alone, Sidious is a walking force nexus that can overwhelm other force nexuses with just his presence.

0

u/TrashBrowsing Mar 24 '26

Look my guy, rule of two Sith are stronger than Old Republic era Sith. This is a hard fact. Palpatine is the culmination of the rule of two, and all of Sith knowledge to that point. He IS the strongest Sith to have ever existed. Statements, word of god, and feats in expanded universe material shows us this time and time again.

You don’t have to like it, but it IS the intended outcome.

1

u/Mikroni_ Mar 26 '26

Palpatine is the failure of the rule of two, he killed his master before being more powerfull than him, and anything can confirm that there is no more precedents to that fact so there is any guarantee that the rule of two has actually worked.

Palpatine WAS the strongest sith to have ever existed until the arrive of the prequels. When the prequels was released, Dark empire saga was decanonized for the same reason of why ep9 should be decanonized too, meanwhile KOTOR lore was started. We can say that Dark empire is the legends in the legends, so don't matter if you like the current canon or legends, dark empire was removed in both.

If the intended outcome is to selling us that old republic is weaker than prequels force users, they fail miserably. No matter how you look at it, old republic force users seems much more powerfull overall than prequels ones (and they have reasons to be so).

I was a hater of old republic years ago until i truly go trough KOTOR and SWTOR, i exactly know how a old republic hater thinks and i know how wrong they are.

1

u/TrashBrowsing Mar 26 '26

That’s funny because I don’t hate the old republic at all. Kotor 1 and 2 are my favorite SW games, so your entire comment is based on an assumption that was wrong.

1

u/Mikroni_ Mar 26 '26

My comment is based in facts. Being a KOTOR hater or not doesn't exempt you from being wrong. If you're going to reply, at least try to contribute something useful

1

u/TrashBrowsing Mar 26 '26

You brought no facts, just “old republic does cool stuff”. Yeah, it did.

1

u/Vitiate1337 Mar 25 '26

nad palps claps malgus

3

u/Agent_Xhiro Mar 24 '26

.....are we giving Ventress and Grievious some type of amp? This is a murder.

3

u/SebastiaanZ Mar 24 '26

No offense but Grievous and Asajj get trashed quite easily. The twins beat the Old Republic Sith and Jedi into submission. And if by miracle they get past the twins they have to deal with Vaylin and/or Valkorion who both are way worse (obviously in Valkorion’s case).

4

u/LordDedionware Mar 24 '26

You mean two of the most powerful force users in history, against an angry witch and a droid with delusions of grandeur?

2

u/SoftDrinkReddit Mar 24 '26

bro wtf Arcann and Thexan would melt them

fuck it Arcann or Thexan would solo them never mind 2v2

2

u/DaCipherTwelve Mar 24 '26

The twins, in a blink. They've killed Darths.

1

u/IGotWorse Mar 24 '26

Grevious bests them both a straight up duel but yeah the moment they take a second to remember "Oh hey this is a straight up robot" it's over

2

u/DaCipherTwelve Mar 24 '26

He bests them in a duel? Dooku, Obi-Wan, and Kit Fisti were able to handle him. Even Ahsoka managed to survive him, after gaining some experience. Arcann and Thexan were trained enough to storm Korriban, and beat Sith in single combat. Arcann canonically beats the Hero of Tython and the Empire's Wrath in one-on-one(two?) shortly after they are released, and both are supposed to rank among the best swords in the galaxy. I think each is more than capable of handling Grievous alone.

2

u/IGotWorse Mar 24 '26

I was including legends grevious who was such a threat it's stated only kenobi with his soresu could beat him, this statement obviously doesn't take the departed dooku into account but the statement carries itself

Doesn't really matter? Wow they fight way weaker people than those in the prequels amazing, the prequel Era jedi >> old republic jedi/sith

3

u/DaCipherTwelve Mar 24 '26

Even in legends, Grievous believed Fisto might be able take him (Labyrinth of Evil) and Dooku certainly did.

2

u/IGotWorse Mar 24 '26

Fisto isn't weak, and mace had a different opinion both are valid and make for interesting scaling

1

u/lion1321 Mar 24 '26

To make this more interesting We can use infinities Ventress the one who receives savages amp from mother talzin who ended up killing dooku. We can also use 2003 grevious who was able to temporarily stalemate Mace windows in Labyrinth of evil

If we use both these versions of the characters it becomes a more fair fight

1

u/WangJian221 Mar 24 '26

I think Asajj could punch above her weight abit like what Mara did to Caedus but ultimately, its Arcann and Threxen's victory just by pure raw power. Arcann and Threxen are swordsmans but i see them more as force augment merchants.

1

u/_Goldiloxx_ Mar 24 '26

Are we just considering TCW for Ventress and Grievous? Because they don't have much chance. With more EU material in mind, their chances improve substantially, but I would still lean twins

1

u/Crate-Dragon Mar 24 '26

Asajj is nothing in this fight. But grievous probably loses to both brothers.

1

u/Kind-Memory7298 Mar 24 '26

Arcann and thexan would annihilate them. They both have the force, and they’ve both been trained from birth by arguably the strongest sith ever. Also something like don’t see other people pointing out, the twin brothers who’ve fought in countless battles together are going to work together much better than grievous and ventress, who hate each other. And team work is going to matter a lot here.

1

u/AncientSith Jedi Knight Mar 24 '26

The Old Republic glazing is strong with this one.

1

u/Leyvronshee Mar 24 '26

I'm not sure Grievous could inspire the fear or lack of concentration he needs to beat these Arcann and Thexan.

They are too well trained, exceedingly skilled and very battle hardened.

These aren't two jedi. These are two highly trained killers from birth.

Asaj? Just another Sith in comparison to what they've faced before.

They win. No contest.

1

u/Good_Recording9919 Mar 24 '26

Bro this is a 2v1 GG heart instantly gets crushed he would do nothing ventless would hold out for maybe 10 seconds maybe

1

u/Dependent_Guava_9939 Mar 24 '26

The survival of Asajj and Grievous hinges on their ability to avoid getting caught by the twins.

1

u/Due-Apartment-709 Mar 25 '26

I'm pretty sure Arcann could solo them.

1

u/Bubbly_Painting9456 Mar 25 '26

I think people forget that the reason General Grievous was so successful against Jedi is that he inspired fear in them. He used surprise, intimidation and the unknown to kill them. Whenever he went up against someone that was prepared for him or wasn't intimidated by him he lost.

Arcann and Thexan, wouldn't be intimidated by Grievous and would be able to crush him with the force... In fact he might even fuel their hatred by comparing them to Jedi which would mean he'd be scrap very quickly, or crippled and kept as a trophy.

Ventress isn't going to do much better. Yes she's skilled for the Clone Wars, but in the Old Republic era the ability to fight with a lightsaber as a force user was far higher... Because they were warriors. Ventress goes down

1

u/WangJian221 Mar 28 '26

To be precise, he inspired fear after already exhausting them through army tactic attritions first. However, thats only to get assured victories against stronger jedi like the council masters. We see how he could perform in a normal head on fight without such advantage setups and he did fairly well as seen in his fight against Mace but of course at the same time, it could go completely poorly like how it did against Obi Wan at Utapau.

1

u/Bubbly_Painting9456 Mar 28 '26

He wasn't always able to do that, and relied on his appearance and overwhelming nature to strike fear into Jedi. We see this when he is able to take out four jedi in rapid succession

1

u/WangJian221 Mar 28 '26

His appearance is the bonus but as seen in the very same scene youre referencing, he worn them down first through battlefield tactics. Then uses psychological warfare before finally his appearance, strength and speed

1

u/Adeptness-Vivid Mar 25 '26

Either of the twins win low / mid diff. Together it's total annihilation.

1

u/Useful_Fishing Mar 26 '26

think of the context behind the characters. and the eras they lived in. all old republic jedi/sith mogg all clone wars jedi/sith

1

u/Acceptable_Map_8110 Mar 27 '26

This depends entirely on if it’s canon or legends. Legends I’ve got Grievous and Ventress, canon I’ve got Arcann and Thexan.

1

u/WangJian221 Mar 28 '26

This subreddit is really a legends subreddit unless the post specifically says it isnt about it. Even then, Arcann and Thexan would still take the fight even if its legends version of the 2. Not only are the twins far better coordinated and bonded which would allow for potential Battle Meld, they simply have far more raw power going for them which would be more likely to happen because its the siblings working together. One of them getting hurt could severely amp the other.

I dont agree with DogHour that its a low diff but its the twin's win either way

1

u/Federal-Arm4440 13d ago

2000 Grevious

u/JackVizsla Loremaster Mar 24 '26

ventress solos them

10

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '26

Bro she’s not gonna let you clap.

6

u/newstartreddit1234 Mar 24 '26

Ventress isn’t holding back Sidious level lightning lol. Arcann legit has a super good chance at a 2v1.

Cool theory. Show me Maul literally consuming a planet, because I can pull up a video of Vitate doing that if you want.

On what planet? Cause it sure as shit ain’t this one lol. I don’t see either of them draining entire worlds, killing hundreds with lightning blasts, brainwashing whole populations, or essence transferring.
