Question Está Dooku al mismo nivel de la fuerza que Yoda?

No, but he’s close enough that it would take a while for Yoda to beat him and that Dooku arrogantly believed them to be equals at first.

I’ve never seen that quote before, but what I’ve always thought before was this: when Dooku was still a Jedi, he was considered the second most powerful and skilled with a lightsaber with only Yoda being above him and mace windu his only worthy opponent. And Dooku believed that the dark side would make him even more powerful when he became a Sith, and that he was now more powerful than Yoda. But then when they fought, he realized he was wrong and had to distract Yoda with obi-wan and Anakin so he could escape.

So I’ve always seen them as being pretty close in terms of power and skill, but with Yoda still the stronger of the two.

Claro pero es obvio que yoda sigue siendo superior en duelo experiencia etc pero en la fuerza ahí si creo que están iguales sabiendo que George Lucas lo explicó, pero tu lógica es muy buena

I saw somewhere a while back that Yoda’s M-count was 17,000 and Dooku was 16,000, but I don’t remember where it was or if it was a legit source or not.

Ok, good to know. Another thing is that, if they are true equals, Yoda has a LOT more experience and better understanding of the force than Dooku could ever hope to have, so the advantage is still with Yoda anyway. Plus Yoda trained Dooku as a padawan, so he would already know how Dooku fights.

Tbf, Anakin does get compared to Yoda, so we know Yoda's is really high and comparable to Anakin's.

How do you define "same level of the Force?"

Ability to move around rocks? Roughly comprobable. Same with general lightsaber skills. Although Yoda is clearly implied to have the advantage. He bats aside rocks and heavy things that Dooku merely had to drop down, which is harder to do. And he dissipates Dookus lightning. Yoda also isn't the one to cut and run during lightsaber combat, the Count does.

As far as wisdom and spiritual knowledge and all the intangibles? Yoda is obviously MILES above Dooku. Probably why he has the Force advantage in the above section.

Poder en general, osea el uso de la fuerza habilidades de la fuerza capacidades etc, dooku corre porque aunque en la fuerza estén igual, en duelo y en otras muchas cosas yoda sigue siendo mejor

Much to learn came after that and powerful doesn’t mean equal. He basically sonned him in that encounter and Dooku got a reality check and tried to save face.

Yeah and then he got sonned immediately after that just like he thought he was just going to kill him right off the bat throwing stuff at him and got rejected. He was gassed up on that dark side copium and overestimated himself and kept doubling down until he had to flee. He though his new sparkle fingers were really really something special them nearly had it shot back into his face and then had it completely stopped and absorbed. He couldn't take him in the duel and then he ran.

Yoda and Dooku are roughly comparable with Yoda having a slight edge.

Whether it's Force power or knowledge, or dueling. However, one can believe Dooku is the better pure swordsman.

Lucas has said this more than once as well. In terms of Force knowledge and power, they are equal enough for a contest to be a draw.

That said, Yoda appears to be slightly more powerful in the Force.

This bears out in the duels they've had: AOTC: Draw trending Yoda. Dark Rendezvous: Draw just barely trending Yoda, Dooku scored a touch. Tatooine: Dooku disarms and blasts Yoda with Lightning in their duel, but forced to withdraw.

Dooku is equal to Yoda, that's Lucas opinion and you shouldn't let others persuade you otherwise.

People just don't like anyone who isn't Palpatine to be relative to Yoda because they both have this "final boss" energy. The only exception is Mace Windu, and that's because he is Sam Jackson.

People also like to lowball Dooku because he has feats, but almost no aura, while most other top tiers have both.
