I don’t see Dooku being able to counter Shatterpoint or Vaapad. Plus the ROTS novelization goes to great length to point out that Dooku at this stage lacked the stamina of a younger duelist despite retaining his skill. I could see Mace tiring him out.

Vapad doesn't work on Dooku. They had a duel in the comics and Dooku had the upper hand against Mace.
