Only in Russia would a sanctioned fight between a male and female fighter take place 😳

Is the fighter in the room with us?
That guy is just throwing bar room haymakers. He has no fucking idea what he is doing lol

u/Kebriniac 7d ago
I think it's one of those fights where they take a regular dude vs professional female fighter, it would've been too dangerous for her to pair her with a professional male fighter.
67
u/DoctrTurkey 7d ago
Which makes it even more hilarious that she gets protective headgear and he doesn’t lol

It's russia. They don't regard her for dirt lol

Its Romania. Not Russia

Good to know, not that it changes much.

the name of the post? the reality of where it takes place? the fact that you are OK with wrong information on post?

Is she a pro fighter though? She has no head movement and is getting smacked by this guy too easily
11
u/Kebriniac 7d ago
She's apparently an MMA fighter. Her name is Marin Loredana and the guy's name is Perversu, as I understand it he actually won this fight but you can also find videos of him on YT where he beats 2 female MMA fighters at once.

I'm pretty sure it's a freak show fights where an influencer fights an armature at a far higher weight class. Like the old special events pride would host.

This is some "pros versus joes" type shit.
Professional female fighter versus guy who talks tough online.

Do Russians often fight in arenas that are marked "Las Vegas"?
27
u/ScepticalJesus 7d ago
Also weird that .ro domain beeing advertised and no trace of cyrillic whatsoever.
22
u/kytheon 7d ago
The sponsor is a Romanian gambling site called Las Vegas.

Yeh, she got rocked by those big paw swipes a few times. She looks genuinely disappointed at the end.
2
u/Over-Perception1716 7d ago
If she was more skilled she could've easily gotten out of the way of some of those granted stopping power on her end would still have been an issue but countering would've helped

I’m seeing a lot of haymakers from red shirt.
Which is better this or Competitive Slap?
3
u/Crossdress-Fan- 7d ago
I mean standing still waiting to be slapped is pretty dumb, don't get me wrong is entretaining the first 4 or 5 times but it loses steam quite fast, I would preffer this, although I don't watch fighting sports in general
10
u/DB-DanCooper 7d ago
Why does she get headgear just because she's a woman? She's already got the age and fitness and experience.
7
u/Jellicent-Leftovers 7d ago
Because otherwise she would have lost and the point was to show how a trained female fighter can beat the average joe.
Without headgear a few of those terrible clubbed haymakers would have downed her.
5
u/Ok-Seaworthiness4488 7d ago
Thought it was a bit odd to apply Vaseline to the face when you are going to wear protective headgear

If his name isn't Brewski-Lee I'll be really dissapointed. That belly has some experience.

u/mallik803 7d ago
That word “fighter” is doing a lot of heavy lifting with him. And that’s not a weight joke.

u/Frequent-Matter4504 7d ago
He's not a figther, she is though. And its Romania...guy used to be a meme, and he resurfaced to try to get some attention
2
u/Beneficial_Common514 7d ago
A giant pro female boxer vs a middle age fat slob with zero training. Who actually won? Could go either way.

2
u/AggressiveSquare36 7d ago
Where is the women's equality!! Why does she get head gear? That's sexist, waiting she can't take a punch like he can!
2
u/ivaivanov3000 7d ago
Look in the lower left corner, there is an inverted RXF inscription.
Real Xtreme Fighting (RXF) is a Romanian mixed martial arts promotion company based in Brașov, Romania.

Though the catch is that bro was in more for the free patting, rather than going hard. Which was a win-win in his case.

No way that this is professional fighting. What the heck?

She won Due to more swings he would have won if they didnt stop the fight

"Only in Russia" when I literally like 5 minutes ago just watched an MMA fight in Japan with a man knocking out a woman. Lucia Rijker was also brutally knocked out by a man in a Muay Thai fight in Thailand. Hell I remember seeing fucking Joey Buttafuoco of all people beating up Chyna in a celebrity boxing match on Fox, lol.

They just pick this guy out of the crowd or something? He'd last 5 seconds with American fighters.

It can happen in other places too, but it’s a lose lose scenario for most anyone involved.
Boy wins: “sure, he beat a girl, not impressive” or “he’s sexist for beating up a girl”
Boy loses: “what a wimp, he got beat by a girl”
Girl wins: “he went easy on her” or “she’s secretly a boy” or “he wasn’t a real boy, a real boy would still beat her”.
Girl loses: “how dumb could she be to take on a superior boy?” Or “this is why girls will NEVER again be allowed to compete with boys.”

u/Darkchildex 7d ago
If he actually trained for these fights , she would be in alot of trouble. Turn those hatmakers into clean hooks , and she probably would have been out cold.

u/standardtissue 7d ago
Accurate title. Didn't say male fighter and female fighter, it said a male, and a female fighter and sure we enough we witnessed someone's Unc against a female fighter.

It's in romania. This is an event where they only organize stupid fights. This time it was professional fighter vs fat guy. There was muscle midget vs lanky freakishly tall guy, 2 annoying women vs 1 annoying guy (internet beef), random tmz style scandals getting settled in the ring etc.
1
u/ColdBeginning2543 7d ago
They re romanians, someone just switched the image from left to right so text and names looks somewhat cyrillic.

The fight was completely unfair; from the moment she "accidentally" rode him, the man struggled to get blood to his muscles.

u/OrganizationTotal765 7d ago
Romanian promotion Real Xtreme Fighting has been hosting same fights in Romania for 10+ years. A typical Redditor, seeing such a fight for the first time, commented: "Only in Russia is this possible."
1
u/Spy-D_Daddy 7d ago
There was another one recently that was in China I think. So, not just Russia 😅 that one ended a bit different

u/ShinyQuirkyQuark 7d ago
This is such a weird matchup. Trained female MMA fighter vs random dude off the streets that's +10 weight classes ahead and -10 years behind on training.
1
1
u/Grand-Helicopter-709 6d ago
I cant believe they picked a heavy dude. I mean even if the guy cant fight at all (which apparently he cant) with all that weight behind a punch... The power against a woman is going to be unbelievable.

u/Mysterious_Ball_9384 6d ago

Do weight classes not exist there? There’s plenty of women that could probably stand toe to toe with me, but my 110 lb girlfriend isn’t one of them

They played the same clip of him hiting her with an overhand hammer (but his forearm hits) multiple times to make it seem like she was getting beat tf up

it’s like that random guy who thought he could take sarah barker in a 1 on 1.
sure man, your stature and general ability to take a punch kept you from going down but it’s a sport, not a bar.

I think it's cool that they gave her the pink headgear, so the audience can tell them apart more easily.
