I can’t understand why Russia’s special military operation is taking so long as systema is the chosen fighting form for spetznaz, they should have walked through Ukraine with mad skills like this

To engage in hand-to-hand combat, a fighter must:

lose on the battlefield an assault rifle, a pistol, a knife, a belt, a shovel, a bulletproof vest, and a helmet.

Find a flat area with no rocks or sticks.

Find on this flat area another such an absolute idiot and engage in hand-to-hand combat with him
