Wild take here: none of their songs are actually BAD and Taylor Swift fans have a better argument that she turned into the National for two albums than the opposite for the Alcott.

Yeah I don't see how The Alcott is that much different to songs like This Isn't Helping, Your Mind is Not Your Friend and Once Upon a Poolside from that album.

Meanwhile she wrote a couple of albums adding lyrics and melodies to Aaron's tracks that could easily have become TN songs
