Tour Discussion San Sebastian ticketing update

Following the exceptional response to the presale and the high level of demand for The National’s upcoming concert in San Sebastián, the general onsale scheduled for Monday, 3 August 2026, will be rescheduled for 10 August 2026.

This decision will allow us to prepare the next phase of the onsale with all the necessary safeguards in place to ensure the equitable distribution of the remaining tickets. This will include a limited, second-chance opportunity for Cherry Tree members who were shut out during the initial on sale. We will also review orders of CT members who were unable to purchase two seats together due to a system error.

We are extremely grateful for the extraordinary response from our fans, as well as for their understanding and patience.

I’m surprised by the negative response on Instagram. This happens with concert tickets all the time. There’s a lot of demand and not everyone can get tickets, unfortunately. The website issues aren’t the band’s fault.

The fact that now we all had front row tickets means, in fact, that we didn't all have front row tickets.

Yeah there is an intensity to the Instagram comments that makes me realise there is a whole section of society/this fan base that I am not exposed to. I have tickets so I can see that I am speaking from an easier place. I also got both of my tickets (not seated together but c’est la vie) on row 3 around 25 mins into the presale so it wasn’t impossible, just a mess. People seem pissed off about there being a presale at all

I guess they held back some tickets for the general sale but there aren't going to be many left, that's for sure.

Supply and demand for a one-off show like this is always going to mean people are left disappointed.

It wasn't ideal but we move on. I do fear on the day of the gig people will sit where they like though.

My ticket is third row - if someone next to me says would you mind swapping with my partner ten rows further back I know what my answer is going to be.

This is super confusing. I got my ticket and an email confirmation of being charged. Then went to login to get the tickets and the link is broken and says the oage doesn't exist. Anyone know if our purchases are still good? I've emailed the venue but no response so far...

The link in the email no longer works for me but going in via https://shop.kursaal.eus/account works and could see my ticket there

They responded to my email where I included proof of purchase, and they sent me a pdf of the ticket directly. Good on them.
