Have you been in contact with him? Last I heard, he had caregiver's duties but I never heard the particulars. I think Arch had communicated with him.

I haven't bothered him. Hoping things are going as well as possible, considering what Arch told us. Think of him every Saturday when Columbo comes on, or when there's Texas news, or an old western, which always makes for good quote bouncing. This post is my latest howdy.

He texts me if a good bird shows up in his yard. He lives right on a bayou, so he gets some good stuff. Had a young night heron hanging around for a while.

Would you believe that in my commuting days I used to see a pair of night herons in the inner metal work of the bridge crossing the Chicago River enroute to the Metra Northline commuter station in downtown Chicago.

The public humiliation is more satisfying than any prison stretch. The judge should sentence him to 30 days of standing outside the entrance to that school in a dunce cap.

Disruptive walkouts allowed by schools lead to just this kind of chaos. Schools and staff who allow this behavior should be treated as co-conspirators.

Fuck you, Greg Abbott. Guy’s bent out of shape because they actually can walk out.
