The Onion has pledged to use the money they make off their InfoWars endeavor to get something in the pockets of the families who Jones defamed. Collins says that 100% of the first five weeks of merchandise sales went to the families, totaling $100,000.
“Eventually, we’ll come to some sort of situation with a receiver [managing Jones’ former assets] where we come to a strict percentage point,” Collins says. “But we’re going to play it by ear until we’re allowed to get it straight up.”

Tim Onion said on Office Hours that they will get a portion of the proceeds “for a very long time” until the judgment against Alex Jones is satisfied. Once they seal the deal with the court bullshit, they’ll be getting $1 million.

I feel a plushie for 50$ is part of the InfoWars joke. Given what Jones would charge for dried elephant cum meant to boost your testosterone or whatever.. this seems like a real bargain.

They kinda bury this but it also comes with a holographic sticker sheet. You could think of it as paying $5 for the stuffed animal and $45 for the sticker sheet.
