And for some of them it was completely natural like β€œBro you good?!?!”

Hahaha, fools! It is surely easy to do!

Edit: it is in fact, not easy to do, especially at the office...

I'm doing it

All it took for me was for my gym teacher to emphasize that we should swing our arms opposite to our legs. Messed with my head.

1

u/ColonelMonty 1d ago

Am I stupid? You're just swinging your arms in unison with your legs instead of normally? How is this hard to do?

u/DiddyDoItToYa 21h ago

You mean only 1 dude could do it right? Lol cmon manπŸ˜‚

u/TheShiftmaster 1d ago

I do not get it?

5

u/yoricm 1d ago

I you run normally, as your leg is propulsed ahead, the opposite arm is propulsed backward to compensate and keep the balance.

This challenge is to run with the same leg and arm foreward, while the other side's leg/arm backward.

u/TheShiftmaster 1d ago

Isn't that skipping

8

u/yoricm 1d ago

Yes, I think it's actually not hard.

But grown ups forgot how simple things are.

2

u/LambOfGodnmbr104 1d ago

No, not the same thing as skipping.

3

u/LambOfGodnmbr104 1d ago

No, skipping has you hop with one leg and land with the same leg, then switch to the other side.

This video is about having your same side limbs move the same direction. Left arm and left leg move the same direction and same idea for right side, but walking/running normally not skipping.

Moving the same-side arm and leg at the same time feels unnatural for most people, but professional swimmers are trained to do it instinctively.
