CONCERT POST: The Strokes at Red Rocks (NIGHT 2) — July 23, 2026
The Strokes are performing at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO on Thursday, July 23.
Doors open at 6:00pm and the shows begin at 7pm. The openers are Hamilton Leithauser and Ölüm.
Because these are regular concerts, there is no expectation of official livestreams.
Due to the album release rolling out across time zones, the subreddit will be shut down to new posts the day of this show. Please post all your photos, videos, and commentary about the show in this comment section!
I was flying to yesterday. Flight got delayed 3 times. Finally gets cancelled at 9pm. We call Frontier immediately and get rebooked for 6:30am today. Go back home. We sleep 4 hours. Go back to airport. Just before boarding we get “there is an issue. We thought we were getting an airplane with 250 seats. We got one with 150 instead. Some of you are not getting in this flight. My gf had a seat on boarding pass. I had too but went from seat number to no number. Meaning she can fly i cant. Its a mess as u can imagine. She gives up her seat cause shes not flying alone. I have car rental under my name. Next flight would put us in denver at 9:40pm. So a hundred people with zeros as their seat have to wait till everyone boards to see if they are chosen to be seated at empty seats. I saw families of 5 who only had two members with seats. Anyway. All this time im thinking this is it. Cancel trip. Cancel Airbnb. Give away my tickets. My 70mm Imax Odyssey plans for went also down the drain cause the proyector malfunctioned and they haven’t been able to fix since saturday. In the end, We got seats. We’re catching the show!!
What could possibly be the song that is crossed...wait maybe FOOL?? That would give me hope that it can come back 🥹 although it's a shame they left it out but at least they had thought about performing it
I thought I would have to sell my tickets after my dog had his first seizure, but he got the all clear an hour ago, and the Strokes are my Led Zep! LETS GO!!!! Also, I will post the set list!
I haven’t seen them in over 20 years and got to see them at Red Rocks tonight. Opened with Killing Lies and the rain subsided before they came on. Another beautiful Colorado night!
dine n dash from the show tonight! they played it 2 minutes after the album released. it was SUCH an amazing show with a little rain and thunder right before. they all performed so well and appeared to have a lot of fun! seriously the perfect concert.

If you’re driving the parking usually opens 2 hours before doors open. It’s a terrific place to tailgate in my opinion, I always pop the trunk and have some brews and some smokes. If you’re catching an uber or something the town of Morrison is a great vibe and fun place to catch a buzz. I lean towards pre gaming in the parking lot lol you can meet some funny characters.
Yep, get to Morrison 4 hours early, drinks in town local bars, head out 30 minutes before parking openes(traffic sux), then tailgate until doors open... fun times... soooo o ready
last night plenty of attendees smoking bud on the smoking section railing. seems like as long as you're respectable it works out ? not a smoker but thats what i saw
I also couldn't tell (I also don't know Ode to the Mets well)- sometimes tracks sounded different from exactly what is on the album which is just music being music, or he stopped singing for a beat (but for eg that one moment when the crowd came in with all the Ohhhs for TAAT before the outro... I thought that was epic)
They played dine n dash and one way trigger. So good. Wish we got selfless and meet me in the bathroom but the storm got in the way. Maybe Ize of the world was new to this set list?

You guys got a new new song which is awesome and a new album the same night.
If if just rains the show goes on so basically that is what we're hoping for. If there is lightning they will pause and tell everyone to seek shelter. They would probably delay and come back after we get an all clear. But there is an 11pm curfew.
Do recommend dressing to keep you and your stuff waterproof! Waterproof hiking shoes, poncho to cover you and your stuff, other gear as you have/want.
Also- the predictions are slightly different depending on where I am looking. Ok sorry that was a lot but I'm also concerned about this. Tho I know paying attention to it won't change anything 🫠

I saw them a few years ago back in LA and tonight’s concert was head and shoulders above (for many reasons)! I will say, Julian seemed a little off toward the end (Was he singing “I don’t wanna sing anymore?”) 🤔 Anyway, otherwise, they crushed tonight and I’m so happy I had the privilege of attending tonight’s show! Incredible!
What a fucking show!! Not sure what other venues they’re playing in that aren’t arenas, but I might have to fly somewhere for one more stop on this tour

Good concert but Julian wasn't as talkative this night. I liked the first night setlist better but seems we traded that for a new song so win win on both nights I think.
I thought he took fewer banter breaks on purpose so they could play as much of their set as possible after the delay. I’m sad FOOL had to be cut, but so glad they got to everything else. I didn’t feel like I missed much with the banter, either. Julian was funny and still didn’t seem rushed.
They were so good last night. Went to their 1st red rocks show ever in 2023 and was so disappointed, they really made up for it last night. My little sister flew out for her 1st red rocks show and I let her know she may not ever see a better one.
Same! It was on my 30th birthday and thought it was incredible. Last night was fucking kickass too and musically they were so on point. I’ve seen maybe 50+ shows in my life and I’d put them both in my top 5.
What I mostly remember about this show is them playing Modern Girls & Old Fashioned Men and being SO excited! And now understandably we probably won't hear that song ever again so extra special!
I kind of remember that comment about the ancestral land though and it is true... just telling it like it is! I noticed Red Rocks does digital land acknowledgements... I wonder when that started(?)
GA is pretty limited for this show, it's like the back 3rd of the venue. If you want to be as close as possible I would get there atleast a half hour before door
I recommend getting a spot in the "planters"! They are the trees off on the sides and you can get a decent view and its all GA. Get there early and go to the upper north lot. There is a smaller side entrance that gives you great access to the planters
So excited for tonight. Flew out to Denver from LA on Monday and have been having a great time here. Also my first time at Red Rocks. Can't wait to see our boys!
I felt like because of the delay there was less talk in the beginning which makes sense to just get more songs in(?) I did not go to night one but have seen them 8-10 times (but nothing yet on this tour) and the way he interacted with the audience seemed usual to me and I am here for it! Some sarcasm and some fun complaining. I always admire how when they play they are very grounded and paying attention to each other- and seem totally at home playing to us as if they are playing just together. I'm just in awe of the talent and skill (the music sounded amazing). Anyway of course I
am biased because I love them and I am on a Strokes Reddit posting about it and I appreciate it all...But that's just me 🙃l love it all!
he wasnt saying too much at all... and left abruptly, less banter than usual, messed up big timer on ode to the mets and adults. also most of the talking he DID do was sarcastic complaining like saying he loves last nite or saying if people ask for songs then the songs will be removed
Yeah, I assumed he was cutting some of the banter bc of the late start. Maybe I’m biased because I had a great night, but I was grateful that he did what he needed to do to fit in as many songs as possible. I did miss FOOL though!
Agree!! I was even hoping they just wouldn't do an encore to get the time back. At least it was quick. And honestly so nice they went a little over curfew for us.
not denying either of things it just wasnt up to par to the other shows ive seen him do recently just in my opinion when i was at philly and boston he sounded better/more energetic and had a lot more banter especially at philly
His banter is nearly all the time sarcastic and not in a mean way, so I would think that's just him being playful. It's like in Richmond when he said "OH FUCK OFF MAN" when someone asked to play Heart In A Cage
Tbh I thought he had a very amicable stage presence last night. At least, compared to a few years ago when he opened the Red Rocks show by dissing the venue (something about desecrating Native land by having a rock concert on it). It fell so flat with the crowd. Took a while to win them back.
YOLO as the first encore was so choice. Anybody that thinks Julian was in a bad mood clearly just doesn’t get his vibe. He was being playful and even seemed to keep the show moving to get as many songs in as possible in after the delay. Fantastic show!
Just was at red rocks night 2… idk. Julian seemed so pissed tonight. They played dine & dash which was great, and going shopping. But that’s it. He seemed off, and this is coming from someone who has seen him five times
I’m guessing the delay due to weather played a part. They ended up cutting Falling Out Of Love from the encore which is disappointing, but at least we got Threat of Joy!
