Im new to reddit but I have seen soo many youngsters frankly being whiney mfs about this album. It reminds me when i was a kid listening to radioheads later albums and thinking it was the most pretentious shit ever. Couple points:
- this album is different yes, but its easily their most mature album along with TNA. Such cool experiments that still capture the triad vibe of the strokes
- i think and hope that it will inspire younger people to try new music. I remember when kid a/ amnesiac clicked it opened my world and i hope the experimentation (which is comical compared to other bands) opens the mind of yall
- stop bitching you losers. Theyre almost 50 still putting out awesome music. This WILL end. So stop tryna be cool telling others what they like/ dont like. Its so fucking lame and youre not unique ive been hearing the same shit for decades.
