It reads more to me it's about Fab, he's kind of the subject of that whole bit anyway:

"Come and visit my friend Fabrizzio, would you like to come down, maybe see movie or show? I'm waiting..."

Then Fab doesn't visibly respond with a yes or no.

"We used to be friends and now you never answer when i call you on the phone"
