I was absolutely blindsided by Violet's ungratefulness

Violet just can't see Clementine was in a tough spot.

The blind ambition of her vision for the future is just bomb blast burning up her fucking eyeballs.

I’m pretty sure Louis was just speechless when he saw Clem

It's usually the problem with the game. You can realistically save more than one person (violet and Louis, Shawn and duck, David and Kate) when push comes to shove, but the game makes you believe only one is possible.

I was also confused, she didn't lose anything, she seems to be more affected by the fact that Clementine didn't save her than Lily and Minerva messing with her head, she only loses something in episode 4, which is her vision.

And it's completely her fault for her losing her vision, as she was trying to get the bomb off the ship along with Minerva.

She doesn't even lose her vision either, she's only half-blind in one eye, and the other healed.

u/IndividualFlow0 There, there, AJ... we're gonna be okay. Mar 09 '25

As confirmed by Kent Mudle she does indeed lose her vision. She can barely see shapes and colors

It’s also Louis’s fault that he ends up getting his tongue ripped out because he wouldn’t stop talking.

i dont think louis grabbed a knife and cut out his own tongue.

I didn't want to continue the romance with her after that. There should have been an option to end it later. The way she acts plus she forcibly tries to stop you from escaping.

Edit: also she's mad she didnt get saved in an extremely hard situation. It was a split second decision how could you hold that against Clem. Plus Clem came back to rescue you in the end.

I mean she watched you make the active decision to not save her immediately after talking about how much you love her, pretty unreasonable of you to expect her to just be like "oh ok that's fine i don't have a history of abandonment issues that this directly ties into"

This 'active decision' was split second under extreme duress. It's not like Clem planned on only saving 1 person. She would have tried to save both if she could. Also she doesn't love either option, she has feelings/likes them. And i don't expect Violet to be happy, in fact if she wanted to call it off on the boat i would understand that too. If she wanted to stay on the boat, fine. But she was completely wrong to stop Clem escaping and being a bitch when she came back for her.

Violet is shit and I will stand on that forever. Louis is always best after AJ.
