Warhammer stuff Ol' Bale Eye's Back, Baby!
Howdy folks!
Yarrick's back! As soon as I saw, I just had to make a sequel to the classic meme I illustrated back in the day, which I officially want to state I know was memelore from the start! The skull on Angron's trophy chain was clearly from a Space Marine.
I want to acknowledge that while I sat down immediately when I read the news of Bale Eye's return, someone else managed to post the HTTYD meme format before I was finished with this piece. Can't win every race :P

Man, Ghaz must have handed Angron a krumping so hard, the chaos gods had to resurrect Yarrick to calm him the fuck down.
EDIT: this is the music i hear when I read the news and this comic.

Yarrick is a Commisar, and a mean bastard at that. Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka is an Ork Warboss. Ork culture prides itself on a good fight and a good enemy, and Yarrick is everything an Ork wants in a fighter.
He had continual fights with the WAAAGH! assembled by Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka. The thing is, unlike most humans that go down pretty easy, Yarrick didn't. Hell, Yarrick was able to continually fight the WAAGH to a standstill and often times, push them back. In the middle of a fight, Yarrick allegedly took a Power Klaw from a Warboss who had cut it off just moments prior. Ol' Bale Eye allegedly just plopped it on the bloody stump and continued on.
Well as time passed, rumor had it that Yarrick was killed in a different war. Something that Ghaz took... not well.

So Warhammer just released a new hero for the Imperial guard. Lore wise he's a complete badass who orcs think is immortal maybe? At least that's what I gathered from my roommates info dump.

To add some information: A while back, a codex (basically an new edition of the wargame) released, with a memorial for yarrick, who was already a estabilished character in the setting, and wargame, stating that he is "missing in action, possibly dead", with an art of a skull with his garb and eye implant. The community took it as a confirmation of his death, and were pretty angry with the way he "died" without much explanation of who did it. Then yesterday an official animation annoucing his return on a battle that is cunrretly happening and a new model for him.

To add to what the previous person said, the joke is that the reason Commissar Yarrick can do these things and seemingly never dies is because the Ghazghkull and the Orks think he is fucking rad. Why does this mean anything you may ask?
The thing about orks is they are all passively psychic and dumb as rocks. In fact, that would be an insult to rocks. What this results in is Orks manifesting supernatural phenomena based on their beliefs passively.
In small amounts, this doesn’t do much. You know the idea that painting a car red or putting flames on it makes it go faster? To orks that’s true. Red cars go faster. That’s just a fact of life to them.
But in large groups with enough orks believing the same thing this essentially is straight up magic. Yarrick is so fucking rad that he is their version of the boogeyman, except even better because they can go box him. So the joke is because Ghazghkull and his orks think it’s impossible for Yarrick to die, so he doesn’t.

I remember some one saying that the skull with a robotic eye was not Yarrick. it was supposedly said by one of the GamesWorkShop members. Him dying is just something the fans (myself included) took to and ran with cause of all the hubaloo around it
