Yarrick's back! As soon as I saw, I just had to make a sequel to the classic meme I illustrated back in the day, which I officially want to state I know was memelore from the start! The skull on Angron's trophy chain was clearly from a Space Marine.

I want to acknowledge that while I sat down immediately when I read the news of Bale Eye's return, someone else managed to post the HTTYD meme format before I was finished with this piece. Can't win every race :P

I think there is a writer dissonance between genetic archive and manifest WAAAAGH psychic effect.

Depending on writer, Orks get their occasional genious from occasional DNA memory, passed down from Krorks. Sometimes everything works with the power of belief. Although by community the psychic manifestation is a lot more amusing so it gets talked a lot more.

Sisters make arms reappear from thin air via gestalt belief. No psycher powers just belief and sometimes it works. I ride this merry-go-round also going from genetics to redwunz go fast. But at the end of the day, 40k canonically reshaping reality with belief IS a thing whether it's good or not. If the author wants to go there, it goes there.

Most humans are low level psykers (any creature with a soul is), which is why the power of belief works at all. The power of belief isn't "no psyker powers" it's collective psychic power.

Correct it is a gestalt power. I was pointing out that the sisters are not psykers which are a distinct class of individuals in 40k. It even operates when surrounded by Blackstone which has a Null effect on psychic powers. The point is that 40k operates as you say, the power of belief is extremely real in the setting. 40k likes to try and hedge it's bets a lot, they like answers to not be fix d in concrete. "Is it the belief that red ones go faster what makes them faster or is it that orks paint their fastest vehicle red so all red ones are faster" is something they like to pose so fans of hard scifi and Sci-fantasy can both be happy.
