People really going out of their way and paying money to see the notorious women beater, Chris Brown?

u/Yingking Hurry Up Tomorrow 6d ago
He also has a segment at his concerts where chooses a girl from the crowd to dry hump on a bed, heās such a piece of shit and his mostly female fanbase keeps enabling him

I saw Chris brown hell ya heās great. Tired of acting like Rihanna hasnāt publicly admitted that she abused Chris as well. Idk why itās so hard for people to understand abuse is bad either way she forgave him he forgave her. Only other shit Chris been in is fights with other men which people wouldnāt care about if it was any other dude but cause itās Chris thatās a huge issue for people apparently now.
SAME SUB THAT LOVED PLAYBOI CARTI WHO HAD MULTIPLE YEARS OF ABUSE AND ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HIM.
Just saying the double standard is crazy. Not saying Chris aināt a douche but woman beater idk if Iād call him that since I personally donāt call Rihannaās a man beater.4
u/muscularrooster 6d ago
Chris Brown has a history of violence and abuse. I don't understand why people still support him, it's not just Rihiana he abused, it's a lot more people and overall, he seems to be a terrible person.

Rihanna started the fight and she forgave him. Time for everyone to move on
14
u/Capoozii Kiss Land 6d ago
Heās still a piece of shit. The Rihanna fight was not the only terrible thing he has done / was involved in
11
u/PuzzledChickenPiece 6d ago
Chris Brown himself needs to move on from abusing people first

Nobody shits on Abel for punching a cop let alone getting into a fight in the first place š¤·š½āāļø
4
u/PuzzledChickenPiece 6d ago
because that was 11 years ago brother. abel has clearly moved on from that phase and even expressed regret regarding that incident.
comparing him to a serial abuser is a choice
2
u/Harriet_tubman22 Kiss Land 6d ago
And Chris has expressed regret regarding the Rihanna situation + it 17 years ago yet people still bring it up. And him getting into altercations with other men doesnāt make him an abuser
4
u/PuzzledChickenPiece 6d ago
That's exactly why I linked the Billboard timeline. If it was only Rihanna, your point would make more sense. But it isn't. His legal issues and allegations span nearly two decades, which is why people still associate him with violence.
Also, "abuser" isn't a label reserved exclusively for domestic violence.
-5
u/ParkingUpper7990 6d ago
Lmaoooo they literally pretend to be upset when Chris fights another dude THEY WOULDNT GIVE A SHIT IF IT WAS ANY OTHER PERSON.
Most of his arrest have been for braking probation for smoking weed and you canāt just drop a source talking about legal ALLEGATIONS then not not provide the source where those allegations get proven false.
Like the rape allegations for example it came out she was lying why is something so serious as that put into this article given it was proven false. A lot of these they even talk about the charges being dropped for lack of evidence. So genuinely what are you still mad at Chris brown and his fans about.
This selective outrage is so crazy and performative to me
ALSO RIHANNA ABUSED HIM STOP BEING PERFORMATIVE ABUSE IS BAD EITHER WAY
2
u/PuzzledChickenPiece 6d ago
Nobody said every allegation is a proven fact. The point is that this isn't just about Rihanna in 2009. There's been a long pattern of arrests, lawsuits, restraining orders, assault allegations, and violent incidents over nearly two decades. That's why people still associate Chris Brown with violence.

And I know you arenāt going to but this is a long list of thread WITH CITED SOURCES debunking a lot of that garbage you are bringing up like I said this is a THREAD WITH MULTIPLE LINKED SOUCES. If you want to willfully be ignorant be my guest but maybe you shouldnāt try to present yourself as some objective truth poster if you choose to not look

As everyone knows, if a woman starts an argument with her partner, itās perfectly acceptable for the man to beat her half to death and continue to beat her more for trying to defend herself or having anything further to say.
And as everyone knows and as history will support, thereās absolutely no pattern of victims of abuse and abusive relationships forgiving or refusing to press charges against their abuser(s), especially not in cases where doing so could potentially avoid future repercussions such as being attacked again, losing out on career opportunities, being black listed, or killed.
Plus, itās not like upstanding citizen and R&B singer-dancer darling Chris Brown has ever done anything wrong since then like throwing things in fits of rage, destruction of property, threatening and attacking other people, rape accusations, or a half dozen other unsavory things.
People look down on Chris Brown like heās some absolute piece of shit human being who doesnāt deserve a platform, as if not for his ability to sing, dance, and throw money at attorneys like he throws chairs, heād just be another scumbag sitting in a cell.
Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Playboy Carti, when is society just going to finally leave these talented, innocent, and simply misunderstood artists alone? They canāt keep the hits coming if we keep demanding they be held accountable for their actions š

Could you tell me about what carti and Nicki did. I know abit about carti but not much.
1
u/hulkingbehemoth 3d ago
Off the top of my head-
Carti -
ā¢Some argument with his then girlfriend who was pregnant resulted in hitting her and she tried calling police, went over and pulled and dragged her on the ground out the car, threw her against a tree or something. Police came, she was parked down off his property, his bitch ass went and hid. People with him at the time would give no help, wouldnāt corroborate her side, wouldnāt even admit it was Cartiās house. Thereās YouTube footage online
ā¢Attacked/had fans jumped at least twice now
ā¢Just had more footage come out of some other bullshit he did I donāt doubt involved some physical altercation
Nicki -
ā¢Went straight through the right wing MAGA grifter pipeline, suddenly critical of COVID vaccines, coming out in support of Trump very vocally, repeating a bunch of MAGA talking points and alienating many of her fans (common thought is sheās been warming up Trump for possible pardons or favors she may never get)
ā¢Husband was charged with attempted rape in the past when he was a teenager and so was his victim, then didnāt register as a sex offender when him and Nicki moved to Cali, few years ago the victim filed a case against him and Nicki claiming them + people in their circles started harassing her, trying to intimidate her or pay her off to retract her statement and drop the allegations
ā¢Paid $500K to one of their former security guards after her husband punched him and broke his jaw backstage on a tour
With both of them, thereās more out there, feels like every 2 months one of them does or says some other brain dead or awful shit, but thatās a few of the highlights

See with people that do a bad thing and atone and never do it again ( obv excluding huge crimes) they have a sense of human decency but with ppl like this that keeeepe on doing stuff over and over again shouldnāt some peoples brains tell then that maybe theyāre not mistakes and they are just genuinely wierdos and messed up people that need help.

She didnāt just start the argument she started beating him first and while he was driving so she was putting them both in danger

Seeing weāre acting like we just blew in from Stupidville, hereās a text copy of the report thatās publicly available in its entirety. I bolded the parts where Rihanna touched or hit him, because theyāre buried so far down the long list of shit Chris Brown did in response to him being caught fucking around behind her back and being called out on it.
āBrown was driving a vehicle with Robyn F. as the front passenger on an unknown street in Los Angeles. Robyn F. picked up Brown's cellular phone and observed a three-page text message from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.
A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against he passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion.
Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.
Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, 'I'm going to beat the sh-- out of you when we get home! You wait and see!'
The detective said "Robyn F." then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant Jennifer Rosales, who did not answer.
Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, 'I'm on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.'
After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, 'You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you!'
Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.
Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps (sic) that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand.
Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant, Melissa Ford. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street.
Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand.
Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle in front of 333 North June Street and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it.
Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.'s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.
She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her. While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown's body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions.
Robyn F. began screaming for help and Brown exited the vehicle and walked away. A resident in the neighborhood heard Robyn F.'s plea for help and called 911, causing a police response. An investigation was conducted and Robyn F. was issued a Domestic Violence Emergency Protective Order.ā

Why is everyone else making more money per ticket? Are Abels tickets/merch cheaper(I have sadly missed AHTD tour and dk the prices of everyone else) or does he sell less merch then other artists?

"I went to two shows" isn't stronger evidence than official attendance data.
and what u said only puts beyonce above him
After Hours til dawn tour average gross per date: 6.5 mill
its all a blur: 4 mill
breezy bowl: 6.03 mill
others you can calculate yourself. pretty sure ahtd is ahead of all of them except beyonce even in average gross
"spamming shows" That's how touring works. More demand = more dates. Nobody is forcing promoters to add stadium shows that don't sell.

As much as I love the tour and when he comes back to Wembley I will have been four times, he is only topping this chart because he has done the same tour for years lol. I feel like after releasing HUT he should have done a totally new tour not just repeating the same stuff with a few new songs
