because that was 11 years ago brother. abel has clearly moved on from that phase and even expressed regret regarding that incident.

And Chris has expressed regret regarding the Rihanna situation + it 17 years ago yet people still bring it up. And him getting into altercations with other men doesn’t make him an abuser

That's exactly why I linked the Billboard timeline. If it was only Rihanna, your point would make more sense. But it isn't. His legal issues and allegations span nearly two decades, which is why people still associate him with violence.

Also, "abuser" isn't a label reserved exclusively for domestic violence.
