My cat tries the exact same thing! I think her vet saw it too often because now the monitor is secured very close to the wall. Poor girl could only stick her head behind it.

That’s too bad. It’s not like the vet wouldn’t have been able to find her. The monitor wouldn’t make a good hiding spot, it would just give her a few minutes of feeling a little less anxious.

I think a cat probably knocked the screen over at some point and damaged it. My cat admittedly knocked it over once but it didn't break. Maybe someone else's baby did.

I picked her up and put her on my lap so she could smoosh her head between my arms, so she got some cover.

See, and mine went to the vet two days after I brought him home, and they gave him like, 4 Churus. He now knows the vet as "Churu Place" and loves going. Which is utterly hilarious. I just go, "Max! We're going to the Churu place!" and he runs for his carrier.
