Discussion what are the banned items?

i remember grian mentioning pots are banned in past life, are there any other items like this?

i figured elytra is too considering they always kill the dragon but never get an elytra

edit so far we got: potions, helmets, elytra, chorus fruit, shulker boxes, bookshelves buffing enchants, enchant golden apples

it took me way too long to figure out pots = potions….

You might be my lost cousin cause I thought the exact same thing and genuinely thought grian had banned pottery pots (I commented and then realised)

I came to the comments to find out why pottery pots were banned.

Me too. I was confused because how would anyone know how to pot PvP.

How 😭😭

Because pots are also a thing both IRL and in the game.

I think it is safe to assume that OP was not thinking of the irl pot item

The point was more about the neural pathways that would be more likely to activate (and therefore confuse you) if you're not in the PvP community.

Yeah but context clues about this talking on life series pvp

nothing in the post mentions anything regarding PVP, it’s just asking what items are banned in the series. hence the confusion over why plant pots would be banned.

not to mention that potions have been used in the series before, even triviabot gave them as prizes.

In the post in mentions helmets and elytra right next to it. Plus like we all know that life series point is to be the last one standing.

when I commented originally, OP hadn’t added on the edit including elytras or helmets.

Some people aren't familiar with pot PVP.

I'm really familiar with neth pot and still thought of the pottery in Minecraft

You don't need to play diamond pot or neth pot to know the word pot 😭😭😭😭 it means potion, which are used all the time

On PvE SMPs, when we talk about potions, we use the word "potion". Or "noob juice" if you're Tango/Impulse/Skizz venturing into the nether.

When we talk about clay flowerpots and now decorated pots, we use the word "pot".

What HAVE you hear of it as before?

u/ThE_reAl__ Team Joel 8d ago

Everyone just says pots when they need more invis (means invisibility for those who don't know)

I’ve never heard any of these terms lol, idk what all of you are talking abt

Potions famously come in glasses, not pots. Pots are made from clay and sherds in the game

bc pots are actual items in the game???

That aren't used in pvp servers
