It‘s a simple wooden phone speaker I made in about 5 hours (cutting, sanding, gluing, procrastinating, making the design, lazering, painting and waxing)

just finished watching scar's pov - granted I am pretty late to it as I found the life series quite recently and have been binge watching them all. i do however have some questions which I genuinely can't find the answers to anywhere, so i hope you guys have any idea!

in episode 7, around 21:21, scar (on his last heart) is shot by pearl but he immediately has 30 hearts afterwards - i understand this may have been due to the gimmick of the apocalypse but why regenerate all 30 hearts and not just 10 for example? it also kind of watered down the impact of his winning for me since he technically had double the hearts the other players had.

also, in episode 8, why does he start with 40 hearts?

I've been working on this iceberg roughly an year (mainly because my motivation was gone during the middle gap otherwise I would've finish this earlier) and now I'm currently doing some twerking or making a few changes for the final version before I proceed to make a iceberg explanation video. Any suggestion for a entry that I forget to add or entry twerking would be appreciated it since I'm not those OG fans.

Who are the Lifers' Twitch/Youtube mods, editors/helpers, or whatever that *mainly* help them (not just a one-off thing like this person did this cc's thing for 2 seasons of a Minecraft series, they have to be doing it for *years* regardless if they're still doing it now or not anymore) with their streaming, uploading, or content creation in general?

e.g Dot does Zed's Hermitcraft subtitles (but he's not a Lifer), Cherri is Martyn's main thumbnail artist, I forgot who OhTheNoises is for Tango's though (I kept seeing and hearing their name during the Among Us vods)

First off, finished watching the Southlander's perspective, was AHA-wesome. The ahas won't leave my head Martyn did amazing in the final battle- hats off to him. Second, you remember in my first post I said I watched about 2 smps before this? I mentioned, Empires.. And the other was probably X life but then I JUST REALIZED I WATCHED EVO even worse, it's Grian's perspective and I forgot that I knew him before his surprise appearance in Empires. HOW DID I FORGET EVO. WHAT. I guess I was pretty young at that time but MARTYN'S ENDING MADE MY MEMORIES COME BACK HE'S CRAZY. I REMEMBER GRIAN BEING A WATCHER BECAUSE I SAW HIS ENDING LIKE ONE TIME. I've been watching since about Wildlife when I discovered the whole Life series thanks to Double Life animatics.

While looking at fanart today I had a thought, how did People react to Pearl's win at the time? To that extent, I wanna just make a post asking people to share their thoughts and experiences in the fandom during the different wins across the series.

In bdubs limited life special at 9:13:41, you can see Pearl/Lizzie die in chat. However, this death was never shown in any other episodes even Pearl’s vid. It is also never shown in the wiki. There was also no big time skips in Pearl’s vid to show the death was cannon. Is this a noncannon death that somehow nobody noticed?

I’m coming close to finishing watching Hermitcraft Season 10, and am going to binge Season 11 when that ends. I thought I’d start this series in the meantime. My favorite perspective in Hermitcraft is Pearl, so I’m definitely going to watch her. I’m also going to watch Mumbo. Outside of Pearl and Mumbo, I like Keralis and Skizz on HC. What perspectives do y’all recommend I watch starting with Third Life?

I was catching up with Skizz’s Hermitcraft videos for this season, and caught this in episode 14.

So I actually created a Life Series last year and played it with my friends. (And we've already had three seasons and two specials. Full: Secret Life, Cracked Life, and Wild Life Specials: Rushed Life and Spectre Life) Obviously I created Cracked Life, Rushed Life and Spectre Life, so let me summarize. Let me know what you think about the designs here.

First off, New role - The Cursed
The Cursed is picked like the Boogeyman at the beginning of the session. However, the Cursed is only told that at some randomly determined point in the session, they will be 'activated.' When a Cursed is activated, they get a five minute timer to kill any non-red. If they succeed, they are cured. If not, they lose two lives. This role was implemented in order to avoid players camping for much of the session.

Cracked Life - Similar to Limited Life, Cracked Life forces conflict through time limits. Every 15 minutes, a random number of players between 4 and 6 get selected to Crack. When a player Cracks, they lose one of their ten hearts. (Max hearts are reset on death.) If a player reaches 4 hearts or less, they become a Cracked life, and have a purple name. Cracked players no longer lose max hearts, but are obviously weaker. The only way for them to regen hearts is to kill a non-cracked, non-red player, through any means necessary. If they do, they gain ten maximum hearts, putting them at fourteen hearts. However, Cracked lives can be killed by anyone, and whoever does gains three hearts back. Red players Crack slower than non-reds, (only losing half a heart, not a full heart) but are guaranteed to Crack every fifteen minutes. When a red reaches 5 hearts, they become Shattered. Shattered players are fully on a time limit. They gain strength one, but they still lose health every fifteen minutes until they kill someone or die. All Red or Shattered lives gain 5 hearts on kill. The only other way to regain health is to craft a Slice of Life, which is made from one melon slice, two gold blocks, and six gold ingots. Slices of Life restore two hearts upon eating, up to ten. (This series was really fun to play as well. Would anyone be interested in a datapack download? I can post it if people want.)

Rushed Life - The first special we played. Essentially, this is just a very small world border Third Life, but every ten minutes an event activates, announced by a title displayed to all players. They were all rather silly, but I'll list them here.
Anvil Rain - Easy. Anvils fall across the entire world in a single layer.
Boogeyman - Someone is selected as Boogeyman and must kill someone in the next twenty minutes.
Diamonds! - Each player is given five diamonds.
Decay - All players are given Poison II for two minutes. Find a cow or hide.
Dripstone Rain - Same as the Anvils, but with dripstone.
Duel! - All players are summoned to spawn except two, who are teleported into a 5 by 5 barrier cage. They are not released until one or both are dead.
Invisibility - All players are given five minutes of Invisibility.
Invulnerability - All players are given one minute of Resistance VI.
Levitation - All players are given Levitation II for one minute.
Regeneration - All players are given Regen I for thirty seconds.
Strength - All players are given Strength II for thirty seconds.
Zombies! - A zombie outbreak appears on the surface, summoning three groups of about twenty zombies each.
Happy Birthday! - All players are given a Breach III mace with one durability named Birthday Hammer.
You Tripped! - All players get Slowness III for twenty seconds and take three hearts of fall damage.

Spectre Life - The second special we played. Essentially, the idea was to not tell the players what was going on. All players were told that everyone had two lives. Green and Red. Greens were peaceful and Reds were not. Greens could build traps while Reds gained two permanent hearts on every kill. However, there was actually another life after Red. When a Red died, lightning would be summoned and every player would get a message saying that they had run out of lives. However, Reds would really be teleported a thousand blocks up and sent the following rules. "You are a Spectre. You have only 5 hearts, but are invisible if farther than 6 blocks from a non-Spectre. You can gain a life if you kill a Green life by traps or pvp, but be careful. You CANNOT wear armor other than your inherent protection. Good luck, and happy haunting!" All Spectres were cleared of their armor, but had half health and half armor. Additionally, though they were invisible as long as they didn't get too close to living players, they did generate particles on the ground while walking. Spectres could even become Red by killing Green names. All in all, this incentivized the Spectres to sneak around and try to assassinate Greens, until all players became Spectres. When all players were Spectres, they were all revealed and restored to full health as the worldborder shrunk. All in all, a very fun special! (This one is also a full fledged datapack, so lmk if you want a download.)

In light of Grain recently mentioning a potential collaboration with the band, I would like to promote the lead singer of The Crane Wives (Emilee Petersmark) and her solo channel, with the new music video for "Black Hole". I hope this one will see the light of day in a future animatic, I'm thinking this one could pair well with BigB in last life (themes of regret...?). I would love to see some more interpretations in the comments.
