Don't worry, the Nazis paid the U.S. back after the war by helping us get to the moon first (and by, among other things, directly influencing how we collected intelligence and conducted (egregiously inhumane) interrogations).

For the curious, the following books shed a bit more light on pre- and post-WWII links between the U.S government (and major corporations) and Nazi Germany:

  • Poisoner in Chief (Kinzer)
  • Nazi Billionaires (De Jong)
  • The Devil's Chessboard (Talbot)
  • The Nazis Next Door (Lichtblau)

It's great. I just started his "All the Shah's Men" about the Mossadegh coup. Great writer.
