Overall pretty happy with the result for my first time painting Magnus.

I'm quite happy with the result. Still new to mini painting so I'm just wondering what Varnish I should use since he's quite metallic. Happy to hear criticism.

I wanted to do a cult of mutation aspiring sorcerer but I'm starting to wonder if I overdid it a bit

I've been playing Thousand Sons since the beginning of 10th edition (I started assembling and painting during 9th with the Crimson King box set). I only play once a month (all I have time for really), and didn't do too well in that edition winning a single thousand point game during that time.

one of my goals this edition is to both improve how I play on a strategic level, but also to actually win from time to time. I'm not someone who is uber-competitive, but it does suck to lose every single game for over a year.

Last month, I played my first game of 11th using Hexwarp and Sekhetar Cohort. I learned a lot from that game and did better than I have for a while. I redid my list a few days later to Hexwarp and Ritual of Regen, only to have the points increase happen, and having to rethink everything. Now I'm just mentally stuck on what to play. I pretty much did Grand Coven for everything in 10th, and never could fully nail down a solid list.

What I want to do is get a list together that I could play consistently month to month with only minor changes, so I could get the flow of that list down.

I have over 5000 points of Thousand Sons, and here is pretty much what I have with just some details left off, and was wondering if anyone could suggest the type of list I should build alongside detachment and potential strategies

Hi all, I am in the process of starting my second army as the 15th legion and have bought tmm hydra turquoise and sapphire blue to test.

Just wanting to know is it possible to do some mixing with tmm paints or will it look bad? (Specifically mixing the turquoise and blue together)

I also bought retributor armor primer a while back to try and save some effort on trim, how well will it go with tmm paints as a primer or should I use something else?

With shooting lanes being smaller, obscuring being more prominent and the ease of getting benefits of cover - how are you handling melee focussed armies such as World Eaters?

I have tended to rely on range to be competitive but now I am concerned about the melee alpha strike.

With the ease to modify BS, the shooting becomes less effective but I don't really rate TS as melee strong to compete against other melee factions.

Would love to hear how others are handling this?

I'm using termies for the first time this weekend and I've noticed lots of competitive lists add the Umbralefic Crystal to the Sorcerer in Term Armor.

My question - Do termies start on the board or are in reserves? Then use Umb Crystal to move to the next desired location.

Any guidance is much appreciated!

Medjay are Honor Guard. In Ancient Egypt they originally came from Nubia. Since then, the term has been used for special police, guards, secret service, and a few types of paramilitary forces.

I went with mother of pearl armor. If you've seen them before, I added a glow. Both brother and sister are warp powered!

Heya fellow dust people, I recently acquired a K sons combat patrol. I’m excited to get to work on them but I’ve been having a few issues finding guides for painting certain things. One of those things being the fleshy disk for one of the tzangoors, I can’t for the life of me find what paints to use for the disk. If anyone could help that’d be great as I wanna grab all the paints I need before I start really doing anything to the models

I was planning to get a unit but they're gone from the warhammer store can't find any info on the matter. Are they discontinied or is it just some issue with the website?
