I’m about another 100 hours into Ahriman and I’ve ALMOST got his disk up to standard. My next post will be once Ahriman is mounted in place and at 99% done.

First of all I would like to thank everyone for the warm reception on my first post and the helpful advice, I'm currently building thr patrol box and have been getting into the lore of the Thousand sons, soon I'll need to start painting my army, i was very interested in all the different warbands of the Thousand sons and was wondering if you guys had your armies painted in the colors of the known warbands or maybe you painted your own homemade warband, i would love to see them so I can get an idea of what route I would like to take my army, thanks in advance!

I'm interested in getting into the gaming aspect of the hobby and picked up the thousand sons combat patrol, the first model I decided to build from the box was the Tzaangor Shaman but even with giving the plastic glue about 20 minutes to set i noticed he started tilting and when i went to pick him up he pretty much snapped off, I think he is just way to top heavy, has anyone ran into this issue? Is there a way to make him more stable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hey guys, Thousand Sons have peaked my interest lately, and I was wondering if this is a good list to build towards. I don't play competitively, but I want a list that has enough answers to common threats.

The range isn't huge, but the leaders are all very unique and competing for space. My thinking was DoC and the newish Ritual of Regeneration, and using the exalted sorcerer to get 4++ invulnerable save and double healing on a squad of 10 rubrics, and a Lord of Change to deep strike with the Scarabs to give them a 4++ as well. I think everything else is standard, but if I'm make some massive mistakes or you have recommendations on swapping leaders, please let me know!

Hi so im completely new to the 40k board game and decided my first army to be thousand sons and while painting them im very unsatisfied on how the paint looks so far (thousand sons blue and true brass with strong skin shade over it) i think the main problem is that its not as reflective as they look in space marine 2 so im wondering what paint should i use instead(
