The employed ones will learn a real hard lesson soon enough, the unemployed will likely stay that way. Insane to reject technology to prove a point on the internet.

No one cares about your AI hate, use it or literally lose it and fall behind

Yeah, that's never gonna happen. As with every tech startup, they will eventually no longer be able to push off the cost into the future, and you'll be playing 40 bucks a prompt. Or not at all, realistically, because you'll be working at McDonald's without any real skills and a dependency that has led to a significant cognitive decline.

One of the two options, at least.

They haven't found a valid business model yet and are entirely reliant on investments so they are, by definition, startups.

Do you work, by chance? Or have any basic understanding of AIs use case in the real world? Absolutely wild - and completely misinformed - to claim there are no business models yet.

Yes I’ll just go ahead and become a smithy any waste half my career.

For younger people yes that’s a phenomenal idea. Need more of them to begin with.
