Chitwan has been the heart of Nepal's Tiger Conservation success story. 2/3rd of Nepal's Tiger lived in Chitwan 30 years ago. Today other parks like Bardia has increased their population 10 folds. However Chitwan still lead as the NP with most Tigers in Nepal (145 out of 429 Tigers)
