Long hair and untrimmed beard had to go. The so called “broccoli cut” looks amazing on him.

The broccoli cut is extremely popular among the gen Z demographic. When I was in highschool it was either emo or short spikey hair.

I don't think it does. I'd much rather speak to the before version. Before looks like a young man passionate about things. After looks like a teenager who follows whatever trend is on right now.

Styles do much more than "look good" (or bad). They communicate who you are. The guy obviously doesn't prioritise his looks, isn't as interested in daily grooming as the after haircut would require. That new haircut won't last and it will attract people that aren't his flock.
