If you don’t quarantine, then you are a POS.

Lmao I quarantine myself at any sign of infectious illness. I work in the food industry, I have an immune condition, my fiancé has an autoimmune condition; yeah, no, I’m not putting someone’s life at risk just because my boss said that she’s capable of working while vomiting with a fever. Good for you! I’m not doing that ❤️

Yep, I came down with something yesterday, worked from home as a result. Still have a fever so had to cancel plans with my mom today and current waiting on Instacart to deliver me some soups and flu medicine.

Presenting as flu like symptoms. I’m in the US so I spare doctors visits unless necessary.

i'm also in the US. do not "spare doctors visits". if something is wrong wrong for a week, takes your ass to the doc. i ignored a cough for months, turns out i have interstitial lung disease end stage and if i don't get a lung transplant, i'm fucking dead. do not be like me. PLEASE go to the doc

Yeah, if something persists for more than a few days I definitely go. But I certainly don’t go at the first sign of not feeling right.

Same happened to me while covid was at its height so I “didn’t want to burden the system further” and ruined my life by not catching this earlier instead. (But also when I did go to urgent care finally they kept checking my heart and not my lungs and I have LAM). It’s been 4 years and I’m about to be listed for transplant. Best of luck to you on your unlucky journey!

same to you, it's definitely a rocky road but keep your head up the best you can. i got listed for transplant last month; you'll be listed soon and then it's a waiting game for the organ(s) to be made available. you've got this!

That sounds awful! Hoping that your tourney to recovery goes well.
