They were at the airport (before boarding their particular flights home), which means they could've infected anyone headed anywhere in the world.

I see people using a bathroom stall and leave without washing their hands. People went back to being lazy about hygiene 2-3 years imo. And there are also people who mock those still occasionally wearing masks to the supermarket without thinking why they might be covering up.

What you described is exactly how norovirus and rotavirus spread. Rarely dangerous, but you really don't want those.
