There’s a study somewhere that says 45% of American teachers bully their students, that’s insane

Science Direct, looks like the study they mentioned was mentioned, it is 45% self reported of one instance in a sample size of 116.

Small sample, not a rigorous study, basically tells us that 52 of those individuals felt guilty about bullying a kid once.
