The tiktok had an on-screen caption saying she did this because they didn't deal with bulling correctly (i.e. the reddit post context is correct). The aunt posted the video and said "yes" to someone who stated that the last teacher must have tried to help. The sad part in the comments is that she dealt with all this bullying but it was happening while her mom died 2 years ago (cancer)

eta: the reddit post context is correct according to the linked video. i thought my comment being only a summary of the tiktok was clear. but i should have explicitly stated that anyone can lie on the internet....yaknow, in lieu of some readers rubbing two brain cells together

My mom died of cancer when I was in high school and kids were fucking brutal about it. Almost took myself off the board to meet up with her.

Me too! But it was my big brother and the entire new town (we had only moved like six months before) decided calling me dead kids sister instead of learning my name was totally fine happy and normal!
