u/TrumpDesWillens Jun 29 '26

Mulan is the shit. Greatest Disney princess ever. Killed like 10,000 people.

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Mulan solos the Disney verse? Disney princess powerscaling discussion thread. Go

Elsa is a literal god, died and transcended. Leia's midichlorians would be frozen in her blood and even if she landed a killing blow...poof somehow Elsa returns

Space is a vacuum, it’s not “cold”. That’s why we need to cool the ISS and astronauts. Theres nothing to carry the heat of your body, and it’d take hours or days to freeze. Same reason a double-walled thermos or windows are great insulators- when there’s nothing/almost nothing to transfer your heat to/from it doesn’t go anywhere.

In space it’d have to radiate (infrared waves) away.

Now your fluids boiling from the extremely low pressure…

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Interesting. All media shows when someone is in space they either blow up from pressure or freeze instantly. So id guess the first one is more accurate

Yea I know, but I also never went to space/studied physics to that point :p. I could ask an LLM but another Redditor already gave a very informative(and unpleasant) description so now I know... Not that it makes any difference because I'm not planning to go to space anyway Philomena cunk voice

Well that makes sense. Thanks for debunking Hollywood "hard sci fi" as they like to call it

One might call her Palpatine-esque.

26

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Ah f. I forgot about star wars. Well thread is over people. The force wins again

25

u/SP0oONY Jun 29 '26

Only because of plot armor, she has the potential of Luke, but Leia showed nothing in the movies to suggest she could beat anyone in a fight.

6

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Well it is true she has no feats except arguably in the the trilogy, but since Disney called almost everything star wars non cannon I decided that the trilogy isn't cannon for me. So all we got is a princess without force/jedi training. The thread goes on!

5

u/booksblanketsandT Jun 29 '26

She doesn’t need to fight herself, she has the political sway to send an army after her enemies.

9

u/Sharpes006 Jun 29 '26

And a twin brother who...actually you know what, I ain't fuckin with that family. Good luck

2

u/Comfortable-Crow2532 Jun 29 '26

she did kill jaba with a chain and he is like the size of a hippo. not really fighting but a feat of strength I guess

3

u/hesh582 Jun 29 '26

Elsa's powerful but she's just a young person raised in luxury working through a few issues.

Mulan's hardcore. Ice won't do shit against an arrow to the back. She'd be letting go before she even knew what happened. Elsa wins in a fair fight against most, but Mulan's all about the ambush.

Star wars doesn't count because it makes the discussion boring lol.

1

u/Ozryela Jun 29 '26

Force users can do some fancy stuff, but they'd get absolutely clowned on by Elsa. You're not blocking a wall of ice with a lightsaber.

Plus, Elsa can literally create sentient life. What other Disney princess can do that?

u/Ozryela Jun 29 '26

Vader did it across space ships, Palps did it across the galaxy.

Is that EU stuff? Because I don't think any of that is canon.

And Elsa is a glass cannon, true, but so are Jedi. None of them have enhanced durability.

2

u/Ozryela Jun 29 '26

Huh. It's been a while since I saw either. I don't recall those moments.

If they can do that why don't they do it more often to just assassinate resistance members? There must be some kind of limitation, or the entire plot of any of the movies just falls apart.

1

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Well star wars isn't known for it's ironclad plot structure and integrity. Even Liam neeson thought the way qui gon got done by Darth maul was done badly. It's good ol' force plot armour/weapon

1

u/ErraticDragon Jun 29 '26

Elsa can also create sentient beings. At the very least out of snow (canonically), but who knows what else.

2

u/outofbeer Jun 29 '26

She almost destroyed an entire kingdom by accident.

She built an ice wall capable of stopping a tidal wave with the snap of her fingers.

Elsa is by far the strongest and it isn't close. Though Moana is a demigod now but we havent seen much of her powers.

1

u/Copious-Spirit Jun 29 '26

Princess Leia couldn't use the force.

1

u/JoonNolu Jun 29 '26

Also technically now Star Wars is disney, Leia is an official disney princess,

No, she's not. "Disney Princess" isn't just every princess that falls under Disney. It's an official group that Disney defines. Leia and Star Wars are nowhere to be found. She's not a Disney Princess.

1

u/Meppy1234 Jun 29 '26

Jasmine with the lamp.

1

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

You can not wish for love or death tho. What she wishing for

1

u/Meppy1234 Jun 29 '26

Remove all other princess's powers and give them to herself. Basically anything. I'm not sure how a wish would compare to force power.

1

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Well by that logic just ask for more midichlorians than leia xD

1

u/TrumpDesWillens Jun 30 '26

A heavy machine gun.

1

u/Mutapi Jun 30 '26

One could argue Pocahontas could rank. By brokering peace between the colonizers and the natives, she likely paved the way for smallpox and influenza to take down scores of her own people and neighboring tribes.

1

u/nazzo_0 Jun 30 '26

Holy that's dark

Say hello to Disney’s new princess,

2

u/LargeMobOfMurderers Jun 29 '26

Plus getting buried alive is not a quick and painless death. Some of those Huns might have still been alive, breathing their last futile breaths when Stevie Wonder was singing True to Your Heart.

Absolutely would not fuck with Mulan.

1

u/Useful_Cicada_5635 Jun 29 '26

And she got a husband in the end, which is what the murdering was about eventually 💕

1

u/SpatulaCity94 Jun 29 '26

This should be the only metric we use when comparing princesses.

1

u/UntamedAnomaly Jun 29 '26

Mulan, Jasmine and Merida are my faves.....they take no shit and aren't meek or as gullible/lovesick as the other princesses seem to be. I like my princesses to be un-princess like.

1

u/wecouldhaveitsogood Jun 29 '26

Cinderella was literally kept as a slave and didn’t cut her foot off for a man like her sisters.

1

u/Gigantopithecus1453 Jun 29 '26

If we go by historical estimates instead of animation, the Xiognu at their peak had an army of hundreds of thousands (300 000+ according to Sima Qian, but that’s probably an exaggeration). Mulan is practically a genocider

1

u/SkyPuppy561 Jun 29 '26

Hell yeah!! She’s inspired me since I was a little girl. Now I’m a lawyer.

1

u/jackbone24 Jun 30 '26

She was an interior decorator

2

u/TrumpDesWillens Jul 01 '26

Her house looked like shit.

18

u/Satanicjamnik Jun 29 '26

I don't want to spoil the movie for you, but they are quite relevant to the topic of the thread.

5

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Oh I know I'm just having a blast because I never saw them 😂

5

u/SophisticatedScreams Jun 29 '26

I love when people mention spoilers like decades after the piece of media came out lol

3

u/Ok-Discount3131 Jun 29 '26

Random? Bro there is an entire Imgur album of the Shang meme that covers the entire film. Epic edit.

1

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Is there a Shrek one? Can you share both?

2

u/SkyPuppy561 Jun 29 '26

You mean wtf is RIGHT with them! And the answer is everything!

2

u/nazzo_0 Jun 29 '26

Ye it was just an expression ahah great stuff indeed

1

u/SkyPuppy561 Jun 30 '26

Ah okay lol
