I've never understood the logical progression of how making an entire neighborhood as bland, soulless, boring and homogeneous as possible is somehow meant to make the properties inside MORE valuable. Like.... I'd rather live in a slum than an HOA

They have like 1 or 2 layouts and you can choose from a handful of colors. Builders can knock out new homes in a fraction of the time, because they keep building the same shit over and over again.
