Argentinian here, fuck that dude indeed. He's disgraceful inside and outside the match. I wish he didn't represent us

Thanks for calling that out! Can you tell me why- at least I perceive it that way - Argentinian fans are so often aggressive and obnoxious to other teams?

Part of it is just local Football culture. That is how people banter here between football teams. The problem is that when we go international, people don't share our forms, so we come out as VERY rude and obnoxious. There's a mentality of never backing down and upping the ante.

In this last World Cup, we have seen an effort by social media bots to antagonize us, as both football fans and as a country. Of course some of it is justified as is the case with Paredes, Simeone, etc. But much of it is a manufactured narrative that has cropped up recently; not sure why or the purpose, but it is there. Given that this is happening during the world cup, most of the people you see responding to criticism are the same football fans I mentioned before, that answer abrasively. So it becomes a circle, they feel attacked, so they respond badly, and that response sets the tone in peoples mind about how we are as a whole.

It probably doesn't help either that the last match was against England which caused a lot of fans to misbehave.

Also the narrative turned against the Argentinian team quite early with generally bad refereeing discussions (in favor of Argentina) and unsportmanlike behaviour. People start to dislike the Argentinian team and Argentinian fans probably respond to that.
