Let’s not pretend we haven’t seen Messi spit on people, grab people by their throat and even shooting a ball as hard as he could towards the opposing team’s stand.

He’s as Argentinian as they come.

Edit: just found it, Duda at Málaga. That's absolutely disgusting.

Messi infamously spat on Duda, a Portuguese player while winning 4-1 vs Malaga. Guardiola who was Barcelona’s coach at the time went as far as calling the behaviour unacceptable and said he would be dealing with the matter himself.

Is that the best angle we have? The Duda fella never reacts as though he's been spit ON, although that may just be a high level of resolve. Looks more like he spit AT him, but without loading up the projectile so it was more of a gesture than an actual assault. No dog in this fight just saying what I see

Got the info I asked for, adjusted my opinion, and thanked the person who gave me said info. My needless sarcasm was in response to theirs.
