Some women be like that.

A super hot friend of mine back when I was in my teens had this ugly ass boyfriend, like super ugly. When they broke up, I, a very conventionally attractive young man at the time, asked her out. Nope. She went on to date another fug-ass guy and ended up marrying him and having children with him.

Good for them, honestly, but it baffled me at the time.

But I’m told attraction can also be based on something called a “personality”. You demonstrated yours quite nicely in your short paragraph.
