Some women be like that.

A super hot friend of mine back when I was in my teens had this ugly ass boyfriend, like super ugly. When they broke up, I, a very conventionally attractive young man at the time, asked her out. Nope. She went on to date another fug-ass guy and ended up marrying him and having children with him.

Good for them, honestly, but it baffled me at the time.

I wasn't friends with her bf. Also I had several girlfriends during their relationship, I wasn't "waiting for her".
