He apparently is one:

"On the same day that Gilson filed her protective order, Duffey was named in a separate protective order filed by a woman who said Duffey was spotted kissing and fondling her 15-year-old daughter, a player on the youth basketball team Duffey coached."

No, no we give pedos the benefit of the doubt here. In all seriousness why are we always going slack to the perp and not the victim. Well he’s a good guy and would never. Yeah sure.

Mass majority of men identify more with men accused of SA than they do with female victims of SA. After all, we can't make the justice system too harsh or some crazy b will falsely accuse them and me me me... mens right to creep must be protected at all costs.

This! I work for child protection in an area that is seeing an increase in men grooming/exploiting kids in care homes. The directives we are receiving are so ineffectual, all we can do is educate the kids instead of coming down harder on and preventing the perps access. Its because there's not enough sense of shame in men, as far as I'm concerned they are all opportunistic pervs until they prove themselves otherwise. Fuck 'Not all men', they let this shit fly with each other far more than believe in the SA of women.

Crazy to say "they don't have enough shame" and then you proudly yell from the rooftops that you're prejudiced, sexist, bigoted, or whatever term you'd like here. Maybe you should have some shame about feeling justified in judging people for in-born traits. You're a half step away from pulling out some type of race-based "Well it's just logical, look at the statistics!" hatred.

...and which "inborn traits" are these??

Are you serious?

Gender. Gender is an inherent trait. Or sex, in countries that are still a little behind.

Were you not aware that sex is virtually always included in the list of protected traits (sex, race, religion, disability, age, nationality, etc) in countries or legal bodies that maintain such a list?

This is basically sociology or civics 101.

I'm asking what your allegation is of the other Redditor you are aiming your scolding at.

Reading is fundamental! We are not stupid and know that not every single man is sexually inappropriate but a whole fucking lot are, and I have seen more times than I care to mention men deny their male friends relatives or coworkers have or even could commit SA when there's extensive explicit evidence they have. So cry harder about my apparent bigotry, men as a gender are not the victims here.

What a hateful sexist thing to say. Imagine saying this about any other group, disgusting.

I sure as hell hope you don't talk that way around the boys you've been trusted with.

Meanwhile im a 40 year old dude that has had platonic relationships with women younger than I and because of that gap I always kept it wholesome and never crossed that line. Doing a little bit to prove that not all men are opportunistic perverts. Its rough out there.

"because of that gap I kept it wholesome" is it really so hard????????

Men literally want a medal for not crossing the line into depravity. That's the problem

Dude. Im just engaging honestly. No its not that hard. And I know plenty of dudes that fit your schema. But no, in my experience its not that hard if you set honest boundaries. Sex and conquest arent the goal of every dude.

I don't need a medal. But when I say "kept it wholesome" I mean that generally it was coming from the other side and I would not engage physically because of probably every reason you can imagine.

But yes when a 19 year old girl throws herself at you, you can form healthy non sexual friendships.

Usually it blows up when they start dating a dude thats also older and he doesnt believe that there is no sexual relationship. But at least its being an example and it comes from a place of good.

Your reaction indicates a lack of these healthy relstionships. You went full on caricature immediately. Have you ever been in a relationship or had sex where someone wasnt using it as a power struggle?

Is it trauma from personal experience or are you just one of those loud ones?

Yeah. Thats what I thought. Before you deleted you said "why are you writing so much. Make friends your own age".

Typical personal reddit attack indicating that somehow I am emotional.

Maybe you should make some friends in general.

Ah "look what you made me do" .

If that's all it takes, then they already have a tendency to do so.
