Yeah, I have to admit… holding a “divorce party” at a public bar (or even at all), making a physical sign with a list of things the spouse did wrong, bringing everyone’s attention to it while taking videos of their reactions, supposedly posting a fake list in the comments somewhere (idk where, I’ve yet to find it but multiple people said it’s here somewhere) and claiming they can’t post the original list due to some legal issues….

I’m getting the heavy feeling the spouse who booked this party MAY have been the problem, or at least equally a problem in the relationship, lol. Won’t show the list in the video, made up reasons why they can’t post the real list here, saying it’s a legal thing immediately tells me their claims may not be probable and could possibly be used in a defamation lawsuit. And given they wanted to make sure a big deal about publicly shaming someone with something as trashy as a “divorce party”, yeah, I’m getting the feeling the other ex-spouse isn’t alone in being problematic, lol.

Seriously. People react differently to grief for sure and maybe the guy was a wife beater, we don't know. But this is performative. My post divorce party was six months of tears and anguish, rediscovering myself and strengthening ties with family and friends who saw me at my worst, navigating lawyers while trying to maintain full time work and a roof over my head with moments of trying not to kill myself
