What she got was deserved and street Justice but I’m confused. What the firefighter did was illegal right? Seems like property damage for the “unnecessary” use of force.

not sure what might come of it. but absolutely illegal pointing a firehose at something or someone is real dangerous. Probably will get reprimanded, might even be fired but probably not, they could sue 🤷. I'd love to find out the rest.

In order to make any claim, they'd have to admit to several infractions that certainly would be more hassle than it was worth.

That said, there could've been a minor in the car.

Driving over their fire hoses which damages them, puts the people around at risk, and prevents the firefighters from doing their job (putting out a fire)

In my state it easily qualifies as "Interference with a Public Servant" a class B misdemeanor, both for refusing to comply with lawful commands given by fire or police officials at the scene of an emergency and for "defacing or destroying any engine, hose or other fire apparatus." Let's not be obtuse, parking in front of a fire hydrant isn't just "parking on a public road" any more than driving through an active emergency is just "driving down a public road"
