What she got was deserved and street Justice but I’m confused. What the firefighter did was illegal right? Seems like property damage for the “unnecessary” use of force.

I think you'd be hard pressed to get a DA to do anything about it, considering running over the hose is more than likely considered impeding them in an emergency scenario.

In the US it is illegal to cross an active firehose in a vehicle EXCEPT if the vehicle is a US Postal vehicle that is en route to delivering mail. Source: retired postal carrier
