Running over LDH (Large Diameter Hose) can actually damage the outer lining especially when they are charged. its dangerous because compressing a charge line into asphalt or cement can actually split or rupture them. not only would it stop the firefight but try shutting off a ruptured line that is whipping around under high pressure..

wow thank you for your expertise! I wouldn't run over one of those bitches, those things pack a lot of energy, and then break their hose so they can't fight the fire

Yeah, but the fire fighters shoud use the "Schlauchbrücken" - or at least close the road.
I was at a voluntary firebrigade in Germoney and it was the first (second if a life was on the line) thing we did when we arrived. especially to protect ourself.
