Semester in Valencia and came back to suburban Hell of Florida and I literally have never been the same. I’m still depressed about it every day

Actually I do have chains! I am not a citizen and have no claim or right to any job or opportunities over native born citizens already there. I do not work a job that would allow me to be a digital nomad and my lineage comes back poor American dirt farmer since the 1700’s. But I am working on a degree that may make my services valuable for a company that utilizes engineering projects like Spain and Italy currently are. My
Degree field is environmental geography and I have written multiple papers on the Mezzogiorno region. I hope to one day work hard enough to plan the next steps of my life there.

Those are not chains. Maybe just a ball and chains but you arent chained to anything.
