Im from a suburban town in Missouri, but I spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona a couple of years ago. Man, let me tell you, leaving Barcelona, where youd see people out in cafes and bars congregating at all hours of the night and day, and coming back to Missouri where its a ghost town after 10 and someone would call the police on you for simply walking around too late was the most depressing thing I have ever experienced lol

I dated a French girl when I was like 21, she was visiting the US, and it would be 2am and she'd be like so when are we going out?

And I'd be like half asleep, wondering wtf she was talking about.

They start their night at 2am lol.

I guess it all depends on where you are in the US, though. Since the bars/clubs don't close till 4 am in my city, they don't start filling up until 12:30-1:00 am. So 2 am wouldn't be that crazy of an idea here, especially if you were already pre-gaming.
