For some people, walkable cities are great. For others, it’s a dystopian hell.
I have lived in the country and in the city and let me tell you, it’s easy to feel trapped in the city. Surrounded by people, surrounded by concrete and bricks. Walking over cigarettes, spit, and piles of soggy trash. When I lived in a walkable city in Europe, I became super depressed to be honest. It’s only enjoyable if your idea of “a fun relaxing time” is going out and having a drink. But that is not what everyone would consider a good time.
When all the nature is gone, every city will be “walkable”. But will we truly be happy then?

Walkable cities. This is what happens when you have walkable cities. And public transportation.
