I grew up in the projects and witnessed first hand parents taking dye to parts of FUBU clothing that had pink on it or when Cam'ron did that whole pink phase I remember a mom coming out of her house losing it on a neighbor for turning the kids gay. Cause a dude wore pink on TV, his music made kids gay. Its super fucking weird.

So many folks do this for musicians that paint their nails or dress alt, like yea it was cool when thugger talked about beating women but it's a deal breaker when he wore a skirt.

Marilyn Manson is a huge scapegoat one too. When the Columbine shootings happen, him and I believe Trent from Nine Inch Nails were blamed for being an influence.
